That kid was an ass in high school from what I remember, his dad's name was all that kept him from getting thrown out of games sometimes.

He'll coach this weekend for sure, I'm guessing, but hopefully that will be Smart's last game at Bama.

That said, the reward could be pretty good for Georgia because he probably knows the Saban defense etc better than anyone.

I remember thinking the same thing with Will Muschamp is all I am saying. Not that I think Smart will suck, I am just not sure how much on field results are actually his work and not Saban's.

I just hope it doesn't fuck Kirby up.

The biggest thing I'm worried about is Alabama may lose it's S&C coach to Georgia as well because he and Kirby are very good/family friends. So he probably gone too.

That's the one thing that I'm worried about. Georgia is already a good defensive team. With a defensive coach as good as Smart is, who knows how awesome that defense can be?

Maybe so, but as long as Alabama has Saban, the D will be in great shape. All the pawns can shake and shift however they want, but that is all they are, pawns.
