Seriously!!! This guy is 100% on field goals this season, KILLING extra points with that added yardage difficulty, no blocks..

AND, his team is UNDEFEATED! Pats are a HUGE reason if not the only reason they are 7-0! Guy put the team on his back against HUGE division rival games in New York and Buffalo!

Stephen for MVP candidate easily! SCAM Newton and ARSON Palmer! Ha! Let's crown the guys who are really winning the games!

i don't see why he wouldn't be.

Unless Peyton Manning wins, he's clearly the only reason Denver keeps winning.

The Patriots have been led by FG kickers for years.

He's definitely money. But MVP is unrealistic. I think he was a 4th round pick.

Obviously he's a favorite to win it. Kickers seem to win every year. So sick of these Gotskowski threads.

Someone talk about Brady for once, he could be a dark horse.

Foruth round pick? He's damn money to win it then. Mark Moseley was a 14th rd pick and he put a LAPD chokehold on the MVP in back in 82.

In the strike-shortened 1982 season, Moseley made 20 of 21 field goals, a then-record 95.2 success rate, and he became the only kicker to ever win the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player.[1] In the Washington Redskins' 27–17 victory in Super Bowl XVII over the Miami Dolphins, Moseley kicked two field goals and was successful on all three of his extra point attempts. During the following season, he led the NFL in scoring with 161 points.

Yeah I remember this now. All I can say is that it must been an off year in the NFL! ;)

They only played 9 games that year, did away with the divisions, and made it a tournament type format with the 8 teams who had the best records in the NFC and AFC getting into the playoffs.
