3 starters actually. DJax, CB Chris Culliver (been our best cover guy) and Nacho (our best safety, esp against the run)Also the Skins will be without DeSean next week.
Gonna be a big challenge for us.

Question for you Ram fans.Instead of Isiah Pead and Rok Watkins, it should say:
Alshon Jeffrey

How do you feel about how all these draft picks have worked out for you?

Nice summary for me. I haven't really followed how all the direct picks panned out. Still need a bit more time to see how they all pan out. Some good, some not. If you break down the Washington picks I would say we did ok. But it's pretty dam hard to screw up ALL THOSE PICKS! Aaron Donald was our pick. Gregg Robinson was the #2 overall - Washington pick and he is doing ok I believe. Brockers has been a pretty good pick. Janoris is hot and cold, but an ok pick. Ogletree was a good pick. Zac Stacy was a good pick because it was so late. Bailey was a good pick in the 4th round.
Could we have hit a Homerun? Yes but we didn't. Depends on how G Rob turns out. If he becomes a really good Olineman, then we did very well. If he doesn't, I say average because #2 overall pick - you should get a beast.
And again, we traded the #45 overall pick to Chicago to drop in the 2nd to get Pead and an extra 5th rounder and got Rok Watkins.
Chicago took AlshonAnd we still don't have a #1 WR on this roster.

TBH, with all those picks, seems like the Rams really didn't capitalize like they should have![]()
Callahan has done an excellent job coaching them up and the very new right side handled Suh and Wake much better than anticipated. Pass protection is a work in progress but run blocking has been quite good...so far
I expect the Oline to slowly continue to improve as the year progresses but Rams DLine is going to be an enormous challenge this early on.
It's not physical talent. It's what's between his ears, his ego, stubbornness, his inability to protect himself, inability to recognize defensive packages and change protections at the line and his need for the big play every time he holds the ball.Let me ask you this. What is your impression of RG3? Is it his attitude? Bad Oline? Or does the Oline just not want to block for him?
I have a hard time believing RG3 isn't going to get some PT in this game for what Snyder gave up. I have a feeling tomorrow we will hear that RG3 is taking some snaps with the 1st team in practice.
It worked out well because it allowed the Rams to have luxury picks.Question for you Ram fans.

Difference is too, Suh just joined the Dolphins, the defensive line won't be good together for awhile, while the Rams have a veteran defensive line that has been playing together for awhile. Young and hungry.
This is the strongest point regarding the trade I've seen yet. Can't discount what you were able to do outside of the direct picks from the trade. It worked out well because it allowed the Rams to have luxury picks.
Trading up for Tavon Austin, taking Aaron Donald and taking Todd Gurley were all luxury picks. Donald seems to have been a homerun. Austin probably wasn't worth trading up for but maybe with Foles and a real offensive coordinator now he'll be able to shine. Gurley is a true wild card that could make the team a real threat.
Thus the part of my post that mentioned it was still too earlyOn average it takes the average NFL player three years to show what he is capable of producing and filling comfortable. This year three for guys like ogletree and Bailey. So the fruits of labor should bearing now.
The Rams did a lot of boring things with the RG3 picks. Ogletree, Brockers and Robinson might just end up being starters and maybe they'll be more but it doesn't matter. Just having those positions filled means that the Rams were able to go after BPAs.This is the strongest point regarding the trade I've seen yet. Can't discount what you were able to do outside of the direct picks from the trade.
Check this out fellas. Schereth has us as a wild card !! I'm telling you its the #YearOfTheRam You'll see we coming..
