Not counting injuries I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a lot of in season changes this year. SM said if you aren't getting the job done you'll be gone. A lot of the guys on this team this year are not here long term. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see SM drop a marginal player and replace him with another marginal player to see if they will play harder/better.

Who do you want to get rid of? Gruden is here for the year. All bets are off for next year. Gruden isn't McCloughan's guy so I think it could go either way. I have thought for some time that Callahan has a slight chance of being the next HC.

Depends on how bad the season goes, but it seems like we are making a lot of changes these days.

3-13 and 4-12 makes everyone suspect. Players often say that their resumes' are on recorded media. Well part of that is how a team finished and what part they played (or didn't) arriving at that end.

Excellent point. Time for me to be less attached to some players I suppose. Really feel for these guys on the bubble but I feel more for us fans waiting forever for a palatable product on the field.

I can't argue this, what he did was really bad and again flies in the face of SM's claim to only sign high character guys. But as posted before why a year later? And why the Hell was Breeland sitting on Sunday for a very minor infraction from over a year ago and Aldon Smith playing on Sunday? I'm so done with the NFL and their strange way of handing out justice.

When it gets down to the bubble guys there isn't much difference from the guy who made it to the guy who didn't. A lot of times it is effort and sometimes it is who the coach likes. Look at Ross, he had been cut 4 times prior to making the team this year. I was rooting for him hard because he earned it but he's just a hairs width from being let go at anytime. For a lot of guys they are living on the edge hoping to stay.
