Murphy is not a gifted player. But he's got "some" talent, plays hard 100% of the time, fine teammate, shows up to work everyday prepared, and I've honestly never felt any worse for a player than I did him for him in his last season in Arlington.

Looks like DDJ gets the day off and Nap finally gets in there. Strausborger is no better than having a lost Gallo in there is he? Oh well Ive seen worse Sunday lineups

I didn't want to lie down the dreaded "RW Card" but that's exactly what I was alluding too.

And ya know, maybe I'm selling him a tad-short since he's now working on his 10th season at the ML level with a .275 BA.

But as far as Gallo is concerned - know it's not of his making - but screw this. IMO, he shouldn't even be with the club. But I don't want to get this going again. Probably already overstated my views on Joey already.

I like Stubbs though he's struggled this year and hasn't had the career I had hoped. He's a Longhorn as tough as it is to admit being a Horns fan nowadays. He was born down the road in Atlanta, Tx too, always like those guys from Texas. Hope a day or 2 off gets DDJ right.

While Gallo has no business being up right now, he did walk and score Friday night. That is more likely than Straus getting on base, aside from PR last night. I do get the just of your sentiment however.

DeShields has looked bad at times in the last few games and every time last night. Those outside sliders are eating his lunch. He can't lay off of them and he puts the same swing that he would a pitch from middle in and misses it by a mile.

Well in regards to that Gallo wasn't raking and we still called him up and had the audacity to start him 2 games.

The guy has been such a great and positive surprise for us this season. Certainly no intend to rain on him.

It's been a long season already, and he could probably use a little mental R&R as much as physical rest.
