Yep, it's not that LA is bandwagoneers, it's just that there's too much to do if the team constantly put garbage on the field. The right word is front runners, give them a quality team that can compete and the fans will be there. There is still a large number of Ram fans in LA and it's surrounding area.
Front runners is probably the better term.

In terms of ratings, the Rams are definitely in 2nd place because even a bad NFL team is still pulling NFL weight. Merchandise they're probably in third and maybe even a distant third just because they never win and there are still a lot of NFL Cardinal fans. No joke. Only team STL would accept back if Kroenke gets his way.
Well that ain't happening (God forbid ). AZ has totally transitioned into a NFL state. They haven't missed a sellout in 15 years (and that includes a lot of bad years). It's Cardinal fever all over the state right now.

The fans have no say in any of it. The money and the power people did what they wanted and moved a team.....don't really know why?

Maybe you should do the research then to see why teams have failed in LA. Might help you to understand why there hasn't been an NFL team in one of the biggest tv markets in the world.

At Dallas training camp practice in California

L.A. Rams fans flock to see former team in Oxnard - NFL.com

The Cowboys dealt with a massive overflow of fans to their Oxnard, Calif., training camp site on Monday, but it had nothing to do with anyone on their roster.

The Rams were in town, and apparently there's still a massive portion of their fan base left over from 1994, the year the team moved to St. Louis.

Sensing an opportunity to sway the NFL owners who will decide on a team's eventual move to Los Angeles, they made themselves heard.

"They told us there were going to be a lot," Rams tight end Jared Cook told The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "But I wasn't really expecting that many. With the Rams, this used to be their home city. I wasn't expecting to see that many people. It was pretty cool."

Per the paper, the attendance rose by roughly 5,400.

The accompanying scene was great, so long as you're not one of the fans desperate to see the team remain in St. Louis. The fans were making their intentions quite clear

I still don't believe it will be the Ram's that move to LA.

Moving the Ram's to LA would undercut the Chargers and the Oakland fanbases....and those two franchises have enough problems as it is.

If the NFL allows the Ram's to move to LA, it will mean that both Oakland and the Chargers need to move in the next couple of years out of the area. It doesn't make any sense to do it that way.

IMO this is just another case of the NFL strong-arming a city into building a new stadium and in this case it is STL that is getting worked over.

In a twisted turned of fate, the Lakers have announced they will move back to Minnesota where it's name will make a whole lot more sense.

It would make sense that we would get a team with no talent and in full rebuild mode just as our Wolves were about to turn the corner.

Not necessarily. Essentially the NFL is wanting 2 teams in the LA market. So that would mean that only 1 of these 3 teams actually needs a new stadium project to go through. Right now the one that is probably closest is that of the Chargers so that would mean 2 teams that have been in LA before and still have fans in the area would be moving to LA and with one being an AFC team and the other being an NFC team it would work out well without having to change the divisions dramatically to make it work.

Throw in the Rams owner badly wants to move this team to LA. For him he sees much more money available in that market compared to that of St. Louis. That is why he was willing to buy the property where the new stadium would go up. He sees this as a great investment.

Well, they've already got the St Louis fans beat...
This is about Kroenke pulling out of STL for a cash grab. He's had one foot out the door for 3 years. People shitting on fans who are losing an NFL team are assholes

Yeah but two NFL teams in LA isn't feasible if the Ram's are one of the teams.

The Ram's are after their own stadium and all the extra revenue that comes with it like you said. They aren't going to share the stadium with another team because that would mean sharing the revenue and another NFL team leasing a stadium from the Ram's to me doesn't seem feasible. And neither Oakland or SD have the cash or investors to go it alone (why they have never presented a go it alone plan).

All of this gets into why I doubt that Ram's one will be the one that is picked. They will pick the two team bid because it makes the most business sense. You up the value greatly of two struggling NFL franchises, NFL owners get to divvy up two huge relocation fees amongst themselves, and it doesn't leave two franchises in limbo looking for new homes thousands of miles away from their current market.

IMO you are going to see a HUGE amount of the Ram's moving to LA stories in the next 6 months all coming from unnamed quoted sources. It will all just be hogwash trying to pressure the city of STL off of their duffs and approve what needs to be approved if they plan on keeping an NFL franchise. But at some point the city of STL will either approve a new stadium plan or else the NFL due to time constraints will announce the move of the two franchises to LA and then let STL determine their next move.

Can't really argue any of that. We shall see. I just think Kroenke knowing his past a little bit if he thinks that even having to share a stadium would mean good money for him then he would be willing to do it in a heart beat.

I just read that there is another stadium proposal where the Raiders could share the stadium with the Chargers. How would that work with another LA stadium for the Rams?
