So I guess when the NFL and Brady were negotiating a deal Brady's side pretty much thought the NFL people were idiots. His offer on the table was to have all 4 games removed from the suspension and that he would just pay a fine for the whole mess of deflategate. Considering he is going to miss out on over $1 million because of this suspension my guess is the fine he wanted was less than that. Hmmm yeah I understand trying to low ball and meet in the middle but that is kind of a ridiculous place to start. Might as well have said for the NFL to just come out and say they were dead wrong and everything is just being taken back that the NFL has decided.

I have stated this before, Kraft proved his and the Pat's guilt when he paid the one million dollar fine and had the draft choices taken away. If Kraft thought the Pats were innocent, then why in the hell did he paid the fine?

Sure the hell is. It's on Brady to prove that the NFL was wrong.

It's not about the phone, as in the court will order for him to turn it over so to speak. That's not how this type case works.

And this isn't that type of case.

Hmmmm, I do believe the cell phone would be KEY in this case. Destroying evidence does not look to we'll to the courts. It could lead the court to say Brady is guilty even IF he's not.

Face it Brady fucked up and now he and Kraft are fucked if this does infact make it to court.

1. the phone is not key, and won't come up in the hearings as currently agreed upon.

2. the phone wasn't destroyed.

3. prior to Brady switching to a new phone Wells specifically told him he would not be needing it.

1) why won't the phone come up in hearings, you claiming theirs a agreement not to bring it up?

2) yes the phone was physically destroyed, not buying the argument that the full data is still available and neither the NFL or the judge will buy that.

3) oh please, anyone with common sense knows that was taken out of context

Harold. IMO. the bottom line is that Brady should have came clean from the start. Goodell properly would have given him a two game suspension. If Brady takes this to court, it will open up a can of worm and more evidence might/could come out that would damage both Brady and the Pats. IMO, 10/15 years from now, if Brady's name comes out, most fans will say, "damn that Brady, he was a cheat". I think it's too late to save Brady's legacy. Just my opinion.

Everyone says that Brady has to come clean..........so does everyone else involved in this case. That includes Goodell, Wells, Vincent, and Kensil

The NFLPA is saying that Goodell does not have the right to allow Vincent to be a designated hitter in handing down Player peanlties. The CBA specifically states that the Commissioner must do that. Hence, they're arguing that Goodell instructed Vincent so that he could hear the appeal within the CBA and uphold the suspension regardless of what was presented or said. Kinda like having your cake and eating too.

Now both sides want this thing hurried. The Union by September 4th, the NFL wants a decision Aug.17th.

This judge is no fool. He going to make both sides dance to his music and he'll make the decision who can two step the best.

There is definitely one great thing about this whole stupid "deflategate" thing. It really shows you who is using their brain, and who walks through life without ever thinking about anything. And then among those who are using their heads, it shows who has at least an average human IQ, and who is functionally retarded.
