I hope he gets a "second wind" on his career and does great. Except against us of course.

And please don't get me wrong about MM. He's been one of few shining lights, offensively, for us in the first half. Certainly not complaining about Moreland's contributions. Just recognizing he's a little on the down slope now.

He probably can use the break to recharge.

Once he prove he was not ready to start, it became obvious this was an overpriced pick up. Wonder if Mendez sticks or if he is sent back down when Perez is activated

When you are DFAing an SP from your Opening Day roster before the ASB ... you are moving him back to the rotation after he has been strictly an RP ... and paying him in excess of $3mil ... you wonder about the ML scouting.

$3 mil is chump change all things considered. It was a worthwhile risk to take. It didn't work out, and in the grand scheme of things it didn't cost hardly anything. Kind of making mountains out of molehills here.

I dunno Detroit seems to be the most recent bastion for castoff Rangers' relievers
