What's done is done with DeAndre Jordan. Looking forward, how much of a threat are the Clippers now that they've kept their center along with the other moves they've made? What will Pierce bring? Will Lance Stephenson bounce back after a terrible season?

Another summer of growth for Blake. Clippers will certainly be a threat, at least if CP3 stays healthy.

Actually for him to say what he did, he will need to be proven right by Tristan being paid MUCH less then 18-19M.
I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.
They share the same agent.
There are no secrets.
James already reportedly said that he wanted to sign first to change the perception of things, but if the end result is him being grossly overpaid, then it's exactly what everyone thinks it was.
Which signing is announced first is symantics.

Nice. My father in law lives like a few hundred yards from the Thomas and Mack Center, that's perfect. The wife and younger kids can hang with Grandpa while me and my son checkout some summer league.

Do they play there every year?

That's where are playing.
And yes, I believe it's the only place around there where they could play.
I've never been before.
Ill let you know, or even try to post from there.

I guess Tyler Johnson broke his jaw yesterday.
6 weeks.
At least the Heat know what they have with him already.
He's borderline to make the roster IMO.

Not in the casinos, restaurants and shows...

Yeah, but it's blast furnace hot walking to and from those casino's, restaurants and shows.

In my younger days, I used to play in a basketball league that also had a tournament in Vegas every summer. When we'd walk out of the gym into that heat, I was sure I was going to turn to dust.

Thompson is not worth 16 million dollars- the circumstances obviously drove that up- that and the rising cap. I mean- what after that playoff performance and everything annd the fact that he is 24 years old and improving, and that he never gets hurt, and that he shares agents with LeBron, and the fact that its not like the Cavs would be able to use the cap room it would save on him for someone else since they are already over thecap---- I mean- with where the Cap is going you could justify 12...the fact he knew they could replace him and how he kicked ass at theright time really worked out for him and it sounds like he is going to get 16 a season.....all though apparently its not finished yet.

that was my quote you clown.

I suspect Thompson is going to get between 12 and 16- as I said a few days ago- because the Cavs cant replace him, he had a great Finals, and he shares an agent with LEBron

18-19 will never ever happen.

I would suspect it comes in as i said- between 12 and 16- with it PROBABLY being about 15.....we shall see though...

I know what DIDNT happen like TURNUP said

LeBron didnt wait to sign to make sure Thompson got 18 million a year. He looked stupid- so now he is back tracking.

All though- ya never know- Turnup might be right- he is DEFINITELY a more credible source than USA Today and Espn, LOL......just unreal. What a paranoid nutjob.

Stephenson was the perimeter defender they needed. And adding PP was a nice addition as well....even if it's for just 22-25mpg. Keeping Jordan was huge.

I'll go slower for you.
The only way they would HAVE to pay him more than a qualifying offer THIS year is if they had to match or beat another teams offer.

Name me the teams who have made me offers.
Why not make him play this year on the cheap if your bidding against nobody?

Now, obviously to get him to extend long term, you need to up the offer.

We can guess all day what that amount is, and once we do see, it will be very obvious if James used his powers.

Now, let's apply some common sense here, he turned down 52/4 at a time well before the injuries/playoffs.
Most would have valued him at maybe 6-8?
If that didn't red flag you as what was going to follow, then you're very naive.

If he signs at 60/5, I'll say your right, with the cap going up, it's about what I'd say he's worth.
BUT, I KNOW that isn't happening. You know why?

I'll tell you. He already turned down 13, when he wasn't worth 8.

How about this, 30-60 day avi bet?
I say he gets 16M + average salary. Something he is not worth, and would only get because of James.

I know you're under James spell, and he thinks he is a master manipulator , but he's as transparent as Saran Wrap to me.

Why make the statement about perceived power if it isn't on your mind?
What better way to try to make someone believe that he's not involved then to be associated with those very people?
He's their bread and better. They will do what he says.
If he told Tristan to sign the contract 1 letter a day at a time in order to get an extra 20-30M, that's what he would do.

I never backtrack, I'll be right or wrong. I'll also simply it again.
It makes zero difference as to who announced they signed first if James was involved in negotiating the terms of Tristan's deal.
In actuality, if you think about it, they may have agreed on the number July 1 when it was all over the news.
Then, James told him to just chill until today so he could sign first.

Bottom line, the eventual dollar amount tells the story.

And back to your USA Today sources, etc,

No comment on Woj and others running with the fake Miller back surgery story?

Please, I'm dying to here the logic of a nitwit.

The furnace blast is just that, but I really don't walk around outside that much.
I'm very happy to never leave the Aria unless I have to and then it's either a cab, or a lot of hotels around there connect and can get you pretty close to others without stepping outside.

Happy trails to Wayne Ellington. He gave his all and I appreciate his efforts.

He signed with the Nets.
