Randle has been looking like a beast, an ox, a lotus flower, so far this week during summer league practices. Even Metta World Peace said that he's a strong mofo. I can't wait to see him tomorrow.

We will see how much he grows on you during the season. My guess is he will shrink just like he always does. You are in luck, he loves playing the Heat. So you have that.

Yeah, I'm not sold on Hibbert, but it's a zero risk/high reward situation for the Lakers. He's a 2 time all-star who is only 28 years old and on an expiring contract. If the change of scenery is good for him and he plays at a relatively high level, great. Then the Lakers can re-sign him.

If he continues to be soft as Charmin and Kobe makes him cry too much, the Lakers let him walk at the end of the season. Even if all he does is be a solid rim protector, he's an upgrade.

I did it a couple of times when the summer league was in Long Beach. It's not great basketball, but it's still a fun way to spend a day. Completely low key and you do get to see some players up close who will be in the NBA.

I know you are. I will say though, that even with suffering season ending injuries, Kobe has made more money for the Lakers than they paid him. I don't even want to think about how much more he's made for the Lakers than they paid him over his career.

That's why I never criticize Lebron for what he's making and what he's doing to ensure that he's always the highest paid player. End of the day, he makes the Cavs a hell of a lot more money that they will ever pay him.
