Had not even crossed my mind until you replied.

Excellent pickup.

I'd really rather see Hamilton in LF for now, and see how his bat/legs respond before making him play CF. The guy is somewhat of China Doll at this point in life, and if he goes down, then we're much further behind than if we left Martin in CF until DeShields gets back.

It's not like whomever we've had in left is tearing it up. And Martin, for the next few games, is by far the best CF we've got. And it's not even close.

Agreed, if he was fully healthy then sure give it a whirl, but he's not... so possibility if re-injury and he's not a very good CFer.... reasons why to give Martin til DDJ gets backs
