Yeah, I would be okay with that now that we have Stephenson.

Even if he traded J Crossover, there are still 4 guards needing minutes in Paul, Redick, Lance and Doc Jr.

As for Austin, we get him on the rookie deal.

So, they can still match any reasonable offer.

To be fair, Lance may be plugged in as the 3.

I'm almost certain Lance will start. Highly doubt they traded a starter in Barnes to bring Lance off the bench to fight for minutes with Crawford

To be fair, Lance may be plugged in as the 3.

It's possible if they don't sign Paul Pierce or complete the trade for Wilson Chandler.

But, they traded for him so that he could D-up guys like Harden and to be the primary ballhandler in the 2nd unit.

Rivers and J Craw are scorers.

Lance would be the point-forward.

Rivers said he envisions Stephenson as the Clippers' primary ball-handler off the bench—a role currently occupied (to great effect) by Jamal Crawford, a two-time Sixth Man of the Year. According to ESPN's Arash Markazi, the Clippers could trade Crawford for help elsewhere, with Denver's Wilson Chandler as a potential target. Crawford's contract will expire at the end of the 2015-16 season, and he can be cleared out even sooner, with the full amount ($5.675 million) guaranteed only if he's still on a roster come July 1, per Spotrac.

Karl wants to trade Cousins but Sacramento and Divac want more veteran players in return and not so much draft picks and this caveat maybe the sticking point to trade Cousins to the Lakers via Orlando. Orlando doesn't have what Sacramento wants in veteran players and neither does Orlando. AS fast as this trade has been developing, it may wither with equal speed.

This whole thing is a mess.

If he wasn't on the block before, he probably should be now.

I don't see how they can coexist after all this.

This stinks of Karl wanting to get his guys from Denver.

Would Lawson, Faried and #7 pick be enough?

They are only asking for it if they go and get Cousins. Dwight Jr. in terms of crying and issues. He might be a baller but I could see Cousins and Kobe getting into it.

I mentioned that over on the Lakers board Shanemans. Especially if Randle is included in the deal. Kobe is not going to get along with Cousins for the same reasons he and Howard could not get along. This deal is rapidly going into the realm of stupid and somebody in the Lakers FO has a major stiffy for Cousins and my guess it is Jim Buss who is going to eff this thing up in hurry if it is.

I heard rumors that the Knicks were interested in Greg Monroe, also interested in Willie Paulie-Stein as a later pick in the draft. Plus they have that top 5 pick. These moves could end up being really good or awful IMO.
Monroe is a good player offensively but not sure about him
Willie was an all-around good player, but dont know how it could translate. He does have great length but he doesnt have much versatility scoring wise. I guess he could be like a Deandre Jordan type of player.

I have always liked Varajeo, he is a team player and works his ass off but IMO that is the reason the Cavs dont have much flexibility his off-season. Not bc of 3 big contracts bc they essentially signed a role player who is injury prone to a 3 year $30 million deal. It is screwing them now.

He will most likely be a backup and could help his injury problems. But $10/year for a role player, not smart.

Plus Shanemans, the Cavs need to improve their talent level on their bench. JR Smith and Shumpert just didn't get it done. So yep, they have some work to do.

I agree. They will now have TT and Varajeo coming off the bench but they need more guards and forwards. I think they need to keep Shump, he is only 24. But get rid of Smith, plus he wants more than $6 mil more likely.

They could get either Mo Williams or Cole for a good price.

I dont expect them to get much from Haywood and 1st rounder but you never know. The Haywood contract is worth $10.5 mil plus they can relieve more cap by sending the Cavs some players. So for teams that need more flexibility that could be a very big chunk and bigger trading option than people think.

Wonder if Lebron would take a pay cut? lol
