You can either say that Curry had another off night, or you can say that the Cavs found a way to keep Curry from having another good night.

I wish some of Matthew Dellavedova's example of all out effort would rub off on Shumpert. He gets the ball and it looks like his feet are in cement as he looks for someone else to have the responsibility of scoring. I think he has a lot to offer if he can get nivolved. I would also like to see Smith perk up with some consistent play offensively. The Cavs desperately need everyone to play better than they have played all year to make up for their wounded.

Both those guys are really talented but have not "consistently" lived up to their skill sets - IMO The problem with both Shumpert and JR Smith is that they defer way too much to their team's Alpha male... They did the same in NY and obviously now in Cleveland with the caveat being that Lebron is head and shoulders above Melo in all aspects and is a vocal mentor / leader in getting them to buy into the team...

The Cavs are playing with heart and urgency. They know they are down two of their best players so those things are the only things that's keeping them alive. LeBron is LeBron but, I do wish he stop traveling and shoot a little better, Delly is playing with heart and you can just tell he wants to win. JR needs to step up and get his 3 game going again and if they can do all that and not run out of gas which they are doing by the 4th quarter (that's why Curry goes off and they seem to catch back up every time) then they have a good chance to win it all.

Just got this on an email lsit I'm on. Thought some might be interested.

Just spoke with a professional friend at the Cleveland Clinic. Delly is fine. Severe dehydration, low electrolytes. They pumped him full of both and he will be ready for Thursday. He was even joking with the staff and said he's ready to go to battle again. And is he getting the best care ever! They're treating him like a prince.

If someone like delly was playing D against LeBron like Delly is doing against Curry and LeBron had played as poor as Curry has- the media would be having an all out assassination of LeBron.

Curry has gotten a pass - when in reality he has played like 2 good quarters the whole series thus far. That cuts both ways- what if he gets going- and its not by chance, they are playing good D against him.

The double standard LeBron receives is ridiculous though- Durant, Curry, CP, - tons of guys get a pass - when anything LEBron does is magnified 10x more than i tshould be

I am just glad this has been one of the most entertaining finals I can ever remember thus far- all games down to the wire-

and Bron

basically averaging 40 10 and 10, LOL

Yes this isn't "curry is off for 3 games" and if he is dude, doesn't deserve MVP if he goes ice cold due to the importance of the Finals, and falters under pressure.

This is Cleveland playing great defense and shutting down curry and curry not strong enough to alter his game. He's Reggie miller v2.0. Amazing shooter, absolutely no strength to go inside and change his game.

it is still just amazing to me

the Cavs when healthy had settled on a bench rotation of Thompson, Shumpert, Delly, Jones--- THREE OF THOSE GUYS ARE STARTERS NOW because of injury and what not!

unbelievable how the bench and all the role players have stepped up on such a huge level having LeBron's back.

IF Bron can win the Finals though without Love, Irving and Varejao missing it would be his greatest accomplishment. Imagine Curry trying to win the Finals without Thompson, Green and like Speights- it would have been game over-

LeBron and ONLY LeBron is capable of carrying the rest of the Cavs to the promised land. Switch him out for any player in the league and this series would be 0-3 EASILY.

In my opinion he has never played better. Just unbelievable.

Yeah I give Cavs a lot of credit. I also give Della a lot of credit back to back games where he saved this team. I really like how cavs played in game 3. More of a team effort. I would like to see LBJ step up late in games but like most think he is spent by that time. u like to see great take over. that is my biggest disappointment from LBJ. besides that he has been great.

I wont say greatest but like I said its will be up there. People are forgetting this is a team(GS) making its first appearance. 1st finals teams have not won in this era. If this was the spurs then I would say yes. Again not a bash They would be in my top 3-5. I have to give it to the Giants beating Mighty 18-0 pats and Boston coming back from 3-0 against the Yankees. bad news for me I hate Giants and Boston. LBJ and these Cavs would be right there. Also winning the triple crown might be ahead of it because no one has done it in so long. So this Cavs team would be #4. Not bad at all.

It was nice to see Kerr make adjustments. Lee needs to play more and Iggy needs to start for barnes. Get let LBJ get hot from the start. Barnes has not made shots and has let LBJ just walk into lay ups.
Barnes seems to come through when they need him though; at least he has in the past. I agree though that a change might do some good. Green has been horrible the entire series and Barnes was bad last game. The ball movement really seemed to pick up with Lee in there and that was very surprising to me.
