Oh I couldn't agree more on both points. The Dubs getting bad calls is nothing new. Have watced that happen a lot during the reg season and in the playoffs. But, when they're playing well they can usually overcome those calls. Lastnight was just bad.
They took Delly off of Klay because he was getting used badly. The alternative was to put him on Curry and it appeared to slow him down. But come on. For people to say the reason he shot poorly was solely because of Delly is just not being honest. Because when Delly was guarding Klay Curry was missing shots then too.

Curry had a couple of shots literally go in the basket and then bounce right back out. It happens...that's what EVERY shooter experiences from time to time. But, Curry being the most prolific shooter in the game right now will bounce back. I wonder what the game will look like when Curry gets his 40 point night...and if it will be a close game or not.

First of all, Klay has a significant height advantage on Delly, Curry does not.

Secondly, Yes, of course part of it was Steph having an off-night. We won't see that poor of a performance from Curry again, regardless of how well Delly plays.

But we Cavs fans have been hearing for literally 12 straight games now... "Yeah their defense was ok but the Bulls/Hawks/Warriors just had an off day. Those are shots they usually make"

At some point you have to recognize the trend in front of you.

D Rose?? Really, the same D Rose that plays on one leg?? Stop it. :L

Ok so you don't watch Eastern conference games. Hey it's ok man. But just to let you know, D Rose was pretty dam explosive during that series. You ought to catch a game or 2 so you know WTF you're talking about.

Memphis held GS under 100 points 3 times, the problem was their offense was just not good enough especially with a banged up Conley. That was their problem.
Ok so what if they scored less than 100 points. They still found a way to win in that situation, yes? After those two losses guess what happened? GS won 4 straight. Did the same thing to Houston...against the runner up MVP and the so-called best center in the game.

He had a nice defensive game last night...but really you want to crown him the next King or something after only one game? Goodness. My guess is most people (even you included) didn't expect the Cavs to do much or win since everyone here is acting like they won the series already. One game. There are plenty of people here who expect the Cavs to win at least one game. SMH

But Curry is unguardable!! :pound:

The thing that stood out for me for Curry besides the poor shooting was the amount of bad shots he took, culminating with the air ball at the end that cost them the game. That seemed panic-induced and a lot of his poor shots seemed to come from frustration and lack of patiencre. He usually doesn't dispay that. I still believe they will win game 4 even if they get blown out in game 3. That would give them the home court advantage again.

It is easy to defend against teams like the Bulls/Hawks when they don't have a lot of outside shooting threats and when you have a guy taking out the other teams' shooters ankles. And, I'm glad we agree that GS had an off shooting night. I can't wait to see a game when the Warriors collectively have their weapons firing on all cylinders. It should be interesting to see how the Cavs defense holds up.

You said they only had 2 good defensive games, I told you they didnt, they had 3. Considering the Warriors averaged nearly 110 points, I would say 100 is very good defense.

And Curry is 180 lbs wet.. Klay is what? 6'5 210? That can make a difference.

What about Game 3? lol
Cavs shot 7% worse and missed 12 free throws. Talk about bad.
I don't think the CAVs will lose game 3. They are going to be sky-high after this victory and so will their fans for this first game at home. I'm sure Cleveland will win that one, they might even blow the Warriors out. But I still think, even if that happens, the Warriors have a good shot at game 4.

You're revealing the fact that you didn't actually see any of that series
If you say so. Everybody knows D Rose hasn't been the same since his first injury 4 seasons ago. It isn't like Delly guarded him prior to that and got the same result. I'm saying lets keep things in perspective here.

No that is NOT what I said. I said after the two losses they made adjustments. My goodness you might want to slow down and actually read what is in front of you.

Wow. You're an idiot. You are just spouting out bullshit now. DRose was completely healthy that series and looking great offensively and even defensively on Kyrie, when he was healthy.

The Hawks finished 2nd behind the Warriors this season in 3 Pt shooting % at 38%. The Bulls were the 2nd best (ahead of the Warriors) team in the playoffs at 3 Pt Shooting at 37.3%.

Hahaha normally I don't result to calling names but you're the idiot here if you think D Rose is completely healthy.

I recall a few OT games in that series. ;) Helluva series until Delly got more minutes and then our offense couldn't hit shit. Yeah I am not making this stuff up. It seemed we used a lot of the shot clock and took bad shots because WE COULDN'T GET ANY GOOD ONES.

Yea but it's hard to shoot jumpers when you don't have any ankles or knees. Come on, Delly was taking guys out right and left...even did it twice in the same series. He tried to do it last night against Speights. SMH

I'm all for a competitive game but cheaters I can't stand.

No, he was. You can just admit when you are wrong, which is most of the time. :pound:
