All right. I'm back to full on fan mode. Cavs are gonna do this.

The Warriors are much better than the playoffs version of the Hawks... but the Cavs went up 3-0 without Irving, blowing them out 2 of the 3 games.

Why can't a team that crucified the Hawks at least hang with the Warriors? The Cavs playoff defense has proven itself to be a trend not a fluke.

Win tonight and the pressure starts building going back to Cleveland.

Also when you phrase something like "at least hang with the Warriors", it tells me you don't really have a lot of conviction behind your post. You want to beat them, not hang with them. There is no gold star for going down 0-2 with both losses being really really close.

Because the Hawks was injured as well, the Warriors are as healthy as a team can be.

Game day. The Cavs team taking the floor tonight is shorthanded but proven. They've played very well in these playoffs and won big time games.

While this is of course the toughest test yet... they are better tested than most want to give them credit for.

I know i'm gonna come off like a dick but "proven" what exactly? That they can fight out of a weak Eastern conference? In all honesty i don't think that'll impress a whole lotta folks...

Nah... I was referring to prevalent notion that the cavs have no shot, not to my own feelings.

Dude the East is weak. Cleveland was a 53 win team. Good for #2 in the East. That record gives you 7th in the West. Cavs when healthy are as good as any in the league. But as an Eastern conference guy, let's not act like the basketball level in the East is across the board on the level it is in the West.

Wasn't an "argument" at all. Simply a fact. In all honesty do YOU think getting a team outta the East is gonna impress anyone...?

The reason it is the answer is you havent accomplished anything other than running through a bad eastern conference. When the Heat did it at least the Pacers were healthier. Atlanta was 60 win team in the East this year.. honestly, that says a ton. I am not bagging on the Cavs, they are an elite level team capable on winning a title. But not anymore. You cant lose guys like Love and Irving and pretend that somehow that won't matter.

Well they have played better D with no love or Irving. And scored almost the same amount of points with Irving off the floor. I'm not counting out the cavs just yet

Love was never a great defender anyways. Might've helped on the other end of the floor, though...
