It's not even just his shooting. His ball handling and passing skills are absolutely unreal. I have to say, I underestimated that part of his game and he definitely showed me a lot last night. It's very clear why he was the MVP this year.
me to, respect his game more now that I have watched him a lot more this year in the playoffs. Him and Irving ball handling is insane. Also Curry D has surprised me. He isn't great but he can hold his own.

I still think harden should of won it but Im ok with Curry winning it. He has showed me a lot. I definitely respect his game more this year.

I wouldn't say super human because he missed a lot of shots(game winner also included)

I dont mind missed shots. They are always part of an offense even if sometimes bad shots.
Turnover and offensive fouls are the true indicators of bad play. Those don't even get shots in the air.

In regulation: Dude went for 42 (efficient points), 6 assists, and only 1 turnover

That doesnt happen everyday for most NBA games.
Heck it doesnt happen that often for even elite players like LEBRON.

Yes, he finally collapsed and got tired in overtime.
But, they dont get to overtime without his (A+) game in regulation.

Reporter:
"Blatt just told us that you played great, but everyone around you needs to do better"

LeBron:
"We all have to be better, including myself. I don't think I was great. I've got to do better things out on the floor to help us be more precise offensively. I've got to communicate a little bit more defensively to help our team get over the hump. It's not about me. It's not about the next guy. It's about all of us."

I don't think anyone plans on Delly replacing Kyrie. I think we see Shumpert shift to PG with Lebron bringing the ball up and JR Smith moves into the starting SG spot. We're definitely better with Kyrie in but those three with TT and Mozgov down low will be a solid starting 5. The difference is now that we'll need Delly, James Jones, Shawn Marion, and maybe even Mike Miller and Kendrick Perkins to be more involved, which doesn't make any Cavs fans happy.

Irving's defense last night was insane, too. That was supposed to be the big knock and he ended up with two of the biggest blocks of the game to go along with I think 4 steals. Curry has the quick hands, not just for steals but deflections. He is probably the most technically and fundamentally sound player in the NBA, and probably the most of the last many years outside of probably Tim Duncan. He is really, really fun to watch.

I have to imagine Harden will get an MVP once or twice before he retires, too. He had one hell of a year. I hate to think of what could've been with him in OKC if they could've all co-existed.

Blatt has to make some changes. Iman D was disappointed at the end of the game. He took too many chances.

Actually Carrol played in the very next game. I'm hesitant to be too optomistic, though. Irving said that something about this time "felt different" then the other issues in the CHI and ATL series.

Man OKC screwed that one up. They were on pace to become a great team. Harden, Westbrook and Durant would of been scary for many years.

From what I've read since last night, there was already heated discussion between the Cavs and Kyries people over playing with this bum knee.
Cavs are looking short term.
He's thinking career.

I highly doubt we see him again this season.

His status is still "undetermined", but I'd be surprised if he's back. Still, the fact that it felt different may be better. He also said it may be just a re-aggravation, which can mean a variety of things.

No kidding. I guess it's one of those things where it looks great on paper but doesn't work in real life. Hasn't there been a lot of talk about Westbrook not being a very popular teammate, too?

Well I hope Irving is ok. I hate to see that. Trust me after watching D rose get hurt 3 times as a fan I know it sucks. I still play the What IF game with Rose. LBj would had some battles with Rose and the Bulls. Maybe we would beat him once already. WHo knows. it was nice to see him come back and look good in the playoffs. This Bulls team will be known for the What If team in the east during this Era.

Stephen A destroying Blatt for playing Kyrie 44 minutes tonight

Did the idiot say who else Blatt was supposed to play since as Wiggy pointed out, JR had a shit game. Also, Delly decided that last night would be a good time to remind everyone why he doesn't start.

We saw an amazing game last night between two amazing teams. You saw a Cleveland team without Kevin Love and with Kyrie Irving playing regulation at about 85-90% control most of the game on the road at the house of the West's top dog. We were about an inch away on Shumpert's shot from talking about the Cavs taking game one. This game says nothing about the Eastern Conference at all unless you're just being a troll.

The Cavs at full strength > The Warriors at full strength.

because you say so? do stop...

Well, the only time this current Cavs team played GS at full strength this year the Cavs won by double digits.

Last night, without Love at all and with Kyrie still being bothered by tendonitis, we controlled the game in regulation and were about an inch away on Shump's shot from winning on the road at the toughest place to play in the NBA, so it's a pretty easy conclusion to come to when you look at the play on the court.
