LMAO....well played Sir...well played....you should be receiving your "bullshit" award from him any minute now.
I'm thinking the mods need to regulate the number of bs icons. I'd ask Hammer but he's one of the biggest offenders.

It's fine. Take it as a complement. They have no decent comeback and cant counter what you said, so they just call BS. Well, that is how I take it..LOL

Totally agree. It really is amazing how many posters come on with zero FACTS to support their nonesense. I enjoy good banter as much as anyone. But I bring facts not just hopes and speculations.

On paper, the Colts look tough. But when was the last time a team signed a slew of over the hill vets and actually got over the top?

Agree. House of cards and it will all come tumbling down. Could end up costing someone their job.

I doubt it. They added so many good football players that it is almost impossible to completely backfire on them.

The Colts were in a good position. They weren't trying to replace talent. Just add more. That usually isn't the case with a team that went to the AFCCG.

Andre Johnson is an upgrade over Wayne. And they added Dorsett in the first round.
Frank Gore is an upgrade over Richardson who gave them nothing last year. Just not having Richardson around where the coaching staff is forced to hand the football because of what the FO wants is a major upgrade.
Hermmans is still a solid guard.
Langford is a solid rotation guy.
Coles can still get after it.
Irving is a solid ILB.

The only additions that they are really relying on are Johnson and Irving. And in the case of Johnson they have a really attractive plan B in Dorsett. Everything else they did pretty much could completely fail for them and they still would be the same team they were last year.

But they do have some really key guys like Mathis and Davis that need to stay healthy and play at a high level for the team to live up to potential.

The issue for the Colts in my opinion is that they didn't fix the two biggest holes on the team and that is the Offensive and Defensive lines. I mean Luck took more hits than any other QB in the league this past year and the Colts didn't pick an OL until the 7th round? That just doesn't make much sense. Todd Herremans was the one guy they actually signed in FA for the OL and he graded out as one of the worst in the league the year before. So again I just don't understand not protecting Luck. He can do a lot but that is expecting way too much out of him. I guess to me I would rather have a dominant OL than a dominant WR core. The Broncos had one of the best WR cores in league history 2 years ago when they went to the Super Bowl but what ended up costing them was having an OL that when met with a good DL couldn't do jack squat.

As for what Pagano said I'm just not sure what else there is for Pagano to say. At this point every team should be filled with optimism for the upcoming season.

Just as amusing as you thinking Goodell was the Commish in 2001,2003 and 2004

The colts needed a lot more than a RB a new old receiver and some rotational guys. They out kicked their punt coverage last year.

They play in one of the weakest divisions. They got to play a team of post-season quitters in the broncos and got manhandled by the patriots. They did not fix their biggest weaknesses and are following the Manning plan, where you stack an offense and hope for the best.

I would not be surprised to see this team step back a little. There is a ton of talent but I am not sure it comes together to make a better team.

I agree. The Patriots showed this to be true two years ago when they went deep with the likes of Edelman and Amendola, and had no Gronkowski.

Edelman can go deep but not if he is the only weapon on the field. Our rookie receivers were not reliable anywhere on the field.
