Here's Marshawn Lynch's career record by year:

7-9
7-9
6-10
7-9
7-9
-------------------------- (Russell Wilson comes)
11-5
13-3
12-4

Here's Marshawn Lynch's YPC:
4.0
4.1
3.8
3.6
4.2
---------------------------(Russell Wilson comes)
5.0
4.2
4.7

But Lynch is the one who made Russell great, right? It's amazing the lengths people will go to avoid giving Russ any credit.
Who didn't give Wison credit? Who said Lynch is the one who made Wilson great? If your going to quote me, don't put words in my mouth. If you are referring to what other people have said, don't quote me.

YOU ARE ARGUING THAT MARSHAWN LYNCH, WITH <4 YPC AND NEVER HAVING MORE THAN 7 WINS (before Russ) IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THE SEAHAWKS' SUCCESS THAN RUSS.

How the fuck is that giving Russ credit? It's like saying "Michael Jordan was less important to the Bulls than Luc Longley...but he was more important than Bill Wennington....I'm giving MJ credit." It's fucking preposterous. You actually said Matt Flynn + Marshawn would produce more wins than Russ and another running back!

You can't say something as breathtakingly stupid as that and then claim that I falsely accused you of "not giving Wilson credit." By definition, you are underrating the clear most important Seahawk.

Deep breaths. Calm down.

So I guess, by your rationale, you are not giving Lynch any credit, Correct?

I can't argue with stupid people. They always beat me with experience.

Lets not forget how Lynch is able to put up the numbers he has with one of the bottom-end offensive lines in the NFL.

FINALLY a Seattle fan willing to admit their OL sucks!

Wow, you are mentally handicapped. No, I am not dissing Marshawn because he is not as good or as important as Russ. If Lynch were more important than Russ, then sure, I would not be giving him any credit. But he isn't. I gave clear evidence why, and I have expounded why on many, many occasions.

If one player is clearly and objectively better and more important than another, but you say the other is more important and better, then yes, you are not giving them credit. That's basic English.

If you want to make an argument for Marshawn over Russ beyond "I think so because I am an irrational Russell Wilson hater," please do so. But generally Russell Wilson debates only feature fans of Russell Wilson using facts. Since facts are on our side, it should surprise no one.

The team is obviously very talented. There is such good all around talent that losing any one one player wouldn't cripple them, expect for Wilson. No Wilson, no chance.

Take Lynch off that offense and the Hawks are screwed.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

Read every one of my quotes below in this thread and tell me how I am a Wilson hater. You do realize this is an opinion based poll, don't you? Since I last checked it is a pretty close split on who people think is more important to the team. But for some reason based on my posts below, I am a Wilson hater who gives him no credit. You are obviously biased toward Wilson and ultra sensitive when people don't put Wison on a pedestal. Your being a Wisconson fan is simple evidence of that.

BTW- Your before and after Wilson nonsense doesn't take into account a young defense coming together after a couple of years of playing together. Nope it's all Russ.

1500 plus hard rushing yards a year.... Need I say more?

IMO - the Hawks don't sniff a SB without Lynch. He is that good. Again just my opinion.

Maybe, but the question was who is more important to the team. I think they would have a better team with Flynn and Lynch as opposed to Wilson and another RB.

Who didn't give Wison credit? Who said Lynch is the one who made Wilson great? If your going to quote me, don't put words in my mouth. If you are referring to what other people have said, don't quote me.

So he goes from 4 YPC to 4.7 YPC because of his defense coming together? Really, that's the best you got?

Again, you post ZERO factual arguments. The best you can do is post some ad-hominem attack about how I am a Wisconsin fan so I must be biased. Who cares if I use facts and you don't. Am I supposed to be persuaded because 11 people disagree with me? I said on draft day that Russell Wilson would win a Super Bowl. Out of 34 voters, you know how many would have agreed with me? 1 or 2, maybe?

That's the thing you don't get about opinions. Some are right and some are wrong. I was right when I said Russ would win a Super Bowl. Here, I am right and you are wrong. The fact that "the defense improved" and "you are a Wisconsin fan so you must be biased" are your arguments is pretty obvious proof that you can't even defend your opinions. I'll ask once again for you to make a substantive defense, but once again you won't because you are incapable of formulating an argument which is responsive to your thesis.

It's so predictable.

Are you being sarcastic?

I hope so, cause I can't think of one Seahawks fan that thinks the line has been better than below average since 2005.

Exactly! Russell Wilson is concidered a top 5 (if not 3 or 1) pass rush avoider in the NFL, and he still gets sacked 40+ times and is pressured on half his drop backs - and it isn't like the defense only has to pin their ears back and rush the passer, they're getting to him when they have to worry about Lynch running them over!

He's done that 1 time in 8 seasons. In fact, he's only topped 1300 2x.

You still don't get it. I don't think you ever will.

You called me a Wilson hater
You said I implied Lynch made Wilson great
You said I don't give Wilson any credit

All I did was respond to a poll and state my opinion which in no way discredited Wilson. Again, show me one post where I did anything other than say I thought Lynch was more important to the offense. Show me a post where I said any of the things you implied I said above. I want to see the post.

Arguing about who is more important to the team is completely different.
