Blanks and Peguero would make a couple of bad ass defensive ends.

In keeping with my negative views brfore the games in this series that have turned out wrong and we won I just want to say Colby will get his butt kicked tomorrow.

I hope you're very wrong again. Heehee

First Back to back wins! First series win. Couldn't get much better.

I knew Houston would come down to earth.

If Hamilton is as good of a pickup as Wandy, its .500 for this team maybe

Well holy shit. It can be done. As bad as we've been all year we're right in the middle of the pack in the West. The Astros will fall back towards the pack...I think.

Woah nelly! Pull the reigns back there big guy. I still fully expect to see some regression out of Martinez, and who knows what Ross is gonna do. Also, I'm not even remotely convinced our offense is turning the corner yet. With all that said, I'm liking Blanks more and more. Also, does the ball come off Peguero's bat like a bullet or what?

Question is, if Blanks continues to perform, what do you do with Mitch?

Random stats:

Every team in our division except the Astros (8-7) has a losing record at home.

Telis had 3 more hits and is now hitting .355. Maybe he could help at C.

Pastornicky ( AA, SS) is batting .333
Mazara 4-5, now hitting .313
Alfaro 2-3, now hitting .320
Gallo 2 more BB's. Hitting .351
That's our 2,3,4,5 in Frisco.

See if you can get anything for him.

That may be jumping the gun, but there's really no place for him if Blanks continues to produce.

Well that's what you asked. "If Blanks continues to perform what do you do with Mitch?" I like Mitch but he just can't stay on the field. It's unfortunate, and it wouldn't surprise me if he contributes somewhere else, but I think you would have to consider moving him.

Blanks has a .236 career average. He is having a very hot streak now, but can we really count on him hitting significantly above his career average? Last year some thought Rosales had finally arrived, but eventually he has come back down to earth. Won't the same thing happen to Blanks? The last time he got a significant number of at bats was 2013. He hit .299 through his first 117 ABs. After that he hit .202 through his last 163 ABs.

We might want to tap the brakes on how much Blanks is going to contribute to this team over the course of a year.

Depends on the return as always, I guess

Problem with Blanks it seems is the same as Mitch, keeping him on the field

Very solid point.
