It changes a little. I think the question for me now shifts to "can he heal up for next season?"

I would bet Manning can still have a better season than Osweiler next year. And Manning is not the only issue with the team right now.

It is another consideration for Manning as to whether he retires. Injury, coaching changes, age, etc. all become some big considerations.

If peyton can heal up this team can still be a contender. but who knows if that can/will happen.

Let JT go. Wes is gone. Resign DT, Pot roast. Focus on fixing the oline through FA and draft.

I'd gladly get rid of the coaches we have, HC, DC AND OC. but i don't really know that there are better options out there.

although at times i dont think there can be worse than foxy.

He couldn't push off with his legs and most of the long balls were wobbly and didn't have the normal trajectory so I understand why he was struggling.

What I don't understand is why the game plan was continuing with those throws.

Troll some where else. Like you said on the main message board Broncos fans should be ashamed for booing Manning. Well when Seattle fans are ashamed to call the Fail Mary an interception then back to me. Good day.

The Broncos receivers still have issues when the other teams CB's are physical with them at the line of scrimmage. This has been going on for a while now and things don't seem to change. With how the defense played as well I don't know if that would have mattered but I get what you are saying. The Colts won and deserve credit for that.

I would hardly call my comment trolling.

Doublejive, Manning was actively trying to conceal the injury. We knew there was some thigh injury but not the torn quad.

As for that, I think many fans were disheartened by a great many things yesterday. I booed Manning when he passed on a sure 1st down scramble. I was generally disappointed by the performance of many of the players.

I think most people kinda knew something was off,i even said so the last two games of the season and I did not watch the whole games, maybe he was in pain and just did not want to risk even a few yards scramble? i dunno what his line of thought was and i bet he was drugged up for the pain too so that most likely affected his mental ability.

And we KNEW that he had this torn quad? If we had known, it wouldn't be a story today.

Either way, Manning deserved to get booed for his performance down the stretch. The reason being that he's not a REAL Bronco. He was a mercenary brought in to win a championship. I know this is callous of me to say, but if he retires tomorrow, he'll always be a Colt to me.

First....Bronco fans, part of the problem is that 90% of the idiots your dealing with have no idea on earth what a quad injury is. They have no idea where the quad is located on the human body. Watching Peyton try to move around yesterday was a lesson in trying to get your body to do something that causes more pain than the original injury caused. More than likely he was causing more damage trying to play normally.

I posted several weeks ago the Manning looked like he was hurt and was basically told to stick my balls in a Ninja Blender.

I feel bad for him. He was pretty despondent after the game yesterday and I'm sure hearing the boos was very disheartening. For everything he's done over the past three years, he didn't deserve to be treated that way at home.

For all of you guys who haven't reached thirty yet..........the human body requires a much longer and restful healing period the older you get. Something that takes three days to heal when your 18 takes a week at 28 and takes 3 weeks at 38. It takes 3 months at 58 and three years at 68. Injuries to professional football players are generally much worse that an average person suffers and take a much longer period to heal. If you think Manning was sore yesterday, today he'll most likely stay in bed and not move.

Raises hand, yup i have had torn meniscus, ligaments, you name it and tore i forget what the muscle is called last year in my foot that is very common among linemen in football, never had it before and i could not walk for a week on it and then it took about three weeks to heal and still was not the same for maybe a month more,i am 44 by the way.

In my 20's i laughed at injuries and am now paying the price i should of took better care of them, now my knee has no meniscus left,my shoulder dislocates often and one of my hands has about half the feeling, time and injuries take their toll.

That's why he gets paid the big bucks and are you a doctor? I'm really sure you feel bad for him. Most of us knew there was something wrong but we don't use it as an excuse. patriot fans and Seahawks fans seem to never amaze me. So concerned about Broncos fans or just obsessed. i don't see why? Just saying.

Doublejive, he is probably best ignored. That is generally how we deal with him.

That explains it much better than him just getting so old all of a sudden. He was throwing all arm on the long stuff. You can't drop it in that well when you're throwing like that.
