The beauty of the Ravens win is it will make watching the Bengals @ Colts game that much more fun because we now have a vested and immediate interest in the outcome! I do like our chances against either of these teams next week, but NFL playoff football can be a very unpredictable animal. Loving what we've seen from the playoffs so far!

I think the pats will be much better prepared this time around for flacco-n-company,......ravens are too up and down, and they hopefully played their SB last night,......I see a one sided game in foxboro next Saturday,.......40-14/PATS....*weather-permitting*

So far, the games have provided a surprise for ....for me anyway. I honestly thought that the Steelers would win, but if anything, they proved how horrible the running game is without Bell. Forcing Rothlisberger to throw the ball 50 times was a perfect plan and it worked. The Pathers surprised me too. Didn't think they had the offensive game they showed yesterday.

Now the Ravens go to Foxboro. Denver has to wait and see who decides to show up today and play football. I like Luck and the Colts but if Cincinnati plays a smart game, Bernard and Hill should get 30 carries each and pound the living shit out of a horrid Colts run defense. Problem is, the Bengals coaching staff is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. They'll most likely try to 'outsmart' the Colts and try to throw to AJ Green.......on the sideline ...because he's out with a concussion.

Here in New England we got 6" of snow with temps in the mid 20's. It's warming up and the snow is now freezing rain. The temps are supposed to approach 50 today..........I can't figure out if the weather is just mysterious or we're starting the Book of Revelation.......

Indy defense looked better than I expected. Of course, no Green and Gresham probably hurt Cincinnati. I like our chances Sunday at 4:30 ET.

1) Why do we, broncos fans, care?

2) Are all pats fans meteorologists? All you guys ever talk about is the weather.

Just giving you a little shit.

The Colts pass rush looked really good yesterday. That was surprising because they haven't had much pass rush all season.

If the Broncos slow the pass rush, they'll win. If the Colts get pressure like they did yesterday, we'll be in major trouble.

Hopefully the O-line will be rejuvenated after the time off and the return of Orlando Franklin. I think the Colts were willing to take some chances against Dalton knowing 1) he's Dalton and 2) the Bengals offense was missing a couple pieces. I also think the Bronco need to make this a physical game from the outset, gashing the Colts with Anderson and Hillman on offense and hitting early and often on defense. Miller and Ware need to get around the edges and keep Luck from scrambling and extending plays. Pot Roast stepped up big in the playoffs last year and does a lot of the dirty work on the interior. As vocal as he has been and an emerging leader on this defense I am expecting a big game from him.

Special teams remain a point of concern and could undermine an otherwise solid game plan and execution by the offense and defense.

Hold on tight, Broncos fans. The Broncos are favored in this game, but this is by no means an automatic win. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Broncos have to make a defensive stand in order to preserve the win.

Luck does most of his damage running the ball up the middle. He's very good at stepping up in the pocket to avoid the Wares and Miller's out there and then he does a lot of damage with his arm and legs. Denver needs to get good pressure up middle and have a lb or Ward/Bruton keep him from big plays with his legs. Going to be the key when our outside rush forces him to step up and have somebody in his line of vision that ain't a Colt. That's how you slow down your pocket passer who also has running ability. Not too worried about him going left or right vs Denver personnel. Pressuring him and most good pocket passers is in their face.

And this is where Pot Roast can become a major factor in this game. He is a big guy, but surprisingly fast and agile at his size. Luck is a big, strong and fast QB, and anyone watching has seen him shake off some pretty big defenders. But even Luck would have a tough time shaking off Pot Roast if he gets his hands on him.

Man this game is getting me excited. I can't believe it's only Monday. We have nearly a whole week ahead of us still! :gaah:

I would say even more important than Pot Roast is Malik Jackson. He has been our pressure up the middle guy all season. Pot Roast is good but I like him more as the make sure there is no pocket for Andrew Luck to step into because 2 lineman have been pushed straight back. He has the athleticism to make the split but he seems to be more consistent when getting the pocket collapsed by pushing rather than splitting. Jackson on the other hand is just a beast at finding his way past lineman on a consistent basis. To me I would think about starting him ahead of Williams at the other DT position even though Williams is the bigger run stuffer of the two. Indy's run game just does not scare me.

Spot on CD. I was thinking after Raider game ( but have been noticing how well Malik has been playing before that) that I sure hope Denver doesn`t let him get away because I think he`s only going to get better and better. He,imo is hands down much better than Sly. going to see some big plays from him Sun

Pats earned a hard fought win over the Ravens. That was a pretty good game. The Broncos will need to excise their Foxboro demons if they intend to reach the Super Bowl. But I am getting ahead of myself. They need to beat the Colts first.

Go Broncos!
