Here is the truth: the committee punted. They put in tOSU so they wouldn't have to decide BAYLOR/TCU.

The chairman is lying through his teeth.

Big10 is a much weaker conference.

Ohio State has the worst lost. Baylor has the best win.

Ksu is better than Wisky imo.

There is NO reason to put Ohio state over BAYLOR.

Because Baylor got a win over Kansas state. It really doesn't seem that complicated to me.

The Big 12 commissioner must be fired

whether that is true or not, the fact is: The members decide on whether to add members to the conference.

As it stands now, the only way the Big12 can play a conference championship game is to increase the membership to the conference. The NCAA would not grant them a waiver for a CCG, even if they wanted one.

SO what this says is, the Big 12 MUST add a couple of teams, as it stands now.

i think so as well. they just f'ed it up last week.

And? It was a conference game and yesterday is the day it was scheduled. TCU had zero choice in the matter. It's not like this was some OOC cupcake that they scheduled to avoid a late loss.

Baylor had to play the same team, they just got them earlier in the season.

TCU was #3 last week. When you use that as the basis for your argument, stick to it. The question becomes what changed since last week. Baylor, Ohio State, and Florida State all picked up wins against top 14 teams. TCU didn't.

If you want to argue the totality of the year, please do so. I agree it favors TCU very slightly over the other two. But you are mixing up your arguments.

How did OSU have a tougher schedule?
By beating up some ranked Big 10 teams??


Because every time the top Big 10 teams stepped out of their league, they lost.


Michigan State, Wisconsin, Maryland, Minnesota, Ohio State, and Iowa all had embarrassing OOC losses when they played anyone outside of their league.


Heck the Big 12 went 3-0 versus the Big 10. Even Iowa State got in on the act.


So, tell me Ohio State is a BETTER TEAM.

Don't sell me on them playing a harder schedule.

There were recites, supposedly. Chairman first said that 4 spot changed. Then he stuttered and said only 5 and 6 changed.

It was an obvious lie.
