this is legit: Big12 as a conference had no,one power-house team. It had two really good teams, one good team, and several fairly good teams.

Ohio State, after the VT loss, started rolling. They slapped everyone in a crappy conference, and on the night that mattered, destroyed their opponent in the conf. champ game.

FSU- undefeated

Oregon- after an early loss, won the champ in a strong conference.

And? It was a conference game and yesterday is the day it was scheduled. TCU had zero choice in the matter. It's not like this was some OOC cupcake that they scheduled to avoid a late loss.

Baylor had to play the same team, they just got them earlier in the season.

They dropped three places after a 55-3 win. That's hard to explain. That basically means that all of the previous rankings out of the Committee were meaningless. If that's the case, don't make them. Just pick your teams after the Conference Championships.

Ohio State beat us 59-0 the week after we beat Minnesota. I think the Buckeyes would do a little better against Minnesota right now. Their defense, in particular, is playing a lot better.

Committee wanted no part of the TCU vs Baylor argument, so they said to hell with it and gave the last spot to Ohio St.

that exactly what happened. i think they realized they really messed up last week putting TCU at #3 and Florida St at # 4. i have no beef Ohio st being in in the final four but TCU got hosed if the committee truly thought they were the #3 team last week.
