Ok, you lost.
Some things I noticed:
Peyton hates Foxboro - you probably do too.
Sanders is great - wish we had gotten him
Brady is not dead
Denver really does have a great run defense
NE run defense is improving
NE can't run (yet)
It really is only one game. Get used to the pain, losing is inevitable and the better your team, the bigger the dissapointment.

We'll be seeing you! (this ain't over yet)

Troubling loss. I felt all week before the game that it was going to be tough to win at NE, but I didn't expect that we would fail to even make it a competitive game. Basically beaten in all three phases of the game as well as out coached. Far too reminiscent of the SB loss to Seattle.

Punt teams demoralized the whole rest of the team I think.

Safe to say every fan of the game would love to see a rematch right back in Foxboro next month.

I don't really get that remark. After losing at NE five straight times, I can't imagine that any fan of the game who is also a Broncos fan wishes for a return to NE. By far the worst the team has played since last February.

Yeah, the Cincy loss in NE doesn't seem as bad to me now. HAHA Damn. Tired of the Patriots kicking my teams butts! (Cincy and Denver)

All of my wife's family is from NE also, so I get to listen to all the crap at Christmas time about how my Bengals and Broncos blow compared to the great Patriot dynasty.

First of all, props to the Pats. They kicked the Broncos asses thoroughly in all phases of the game, from start to finish.

That game was both embarrassing and disappointing for the fans, so it damn sure better be that way for the players. If they don't respond to this game by returning to form and kicking ass the rest of the season, then they have no heart and aren't going to win shit. It doesn't matter how much talent you have on your team, you need to have heart and you need to have good coaching that puts your players in the best position to be successful and win. If you don't have both things, you won't go far when it matters.

The Patriots proved again that they have both heart and good coaching. The Broncos still have to prove that they have either. That goes for the whole team. Part of me wants the Broncos to have to go back into Foxboro in January to go through the Patriots to get back to the Super Bowl. At this point, if the Broncos won out the rest of the season and got HFA, I wouldn't be completely confident that they would get past the Patriots in Denver. They have a long way to go and a lot to prove.

Hell man, I have more confidence with them to get past NE in Denver than I do NE in NE. Crazy to root for anything but HFA throughout. Just have to play tough and the Patriots have to blow a game or two.

Interesting point about possibly having to win on the road in the playoffs. Obviously the SB, if we are to make it back to that game, will require that we travel.

Crash, I wasn't saying the Broncos have a better chance to beat the Patriots in NE than in Denver. It would certainly be harder to win in Foxboro than Denver. I think the Broncos need to prove that they can win against the best playoff teams when conditions aren't ideal, as opposed to having a (relatively) easy road to the Super Bowl. In other words, they need to face some adversity and overcome it, like winning in Foxboro where they haven't had much success.

The other part of what I was saying is that the way they got beat last night, it wouldn't have mattered if the game was in Denver. They were gonna get their asses beat, because they weren't prepared, either by game plan or mentally. They need to nut up and beat contenders.

Well, I disagree to that respect. Because if the Broncos have to play the Patriots in NE come AFCC game time, and they pull out all the stunts and able to beat the unbeatable Patriots at home in a critical game, they will get their asses pounded come SB time. Reason being, they blew their entire load in the previous game against NE. I would expect a huge butt pounding in the SB if we did that in the AFCC against the Patriots.

Lol. Agree to disagree. I think they would have plenty left in the tank, including confidence, if they beat the Patriots in Foxboro.

I STILL would rather play in Denver.

And on the positive side, MANY teams (some very good teams) suffered blowouts during the season only to finish with a SB victory. The same season the 49ers got blown out 40-8 by the Eagles in Candlestick Park, 49er fans were celebrating another blowout a few months later against the Chargers......

I'd always rather play at home than on the road and of course getting blown out yesterday doesn't mean we're done. On the other hand, in our last three road games against good teams we have gone 0-3. I think that is cause for concern.

I said if Denver got one dimensional, they would be in trouble. Yes the running game has gotten better ( vs lesser teams) but Denver struggles vs better teams in running game. If they don`t get the running game going in Nov and Dec, it will be very difficult to go all the way. Like to see more CJ and I will say this again. I think Denver should utilize some two back sets. I know where I`d go if I was Denver in the draft and Fa this yr and thats the O- line and a big power back if possible.

Imagine IF the Broncos were able to convert some of their 4th downs? Heck yeah to the Patriots defense!

Honestly I did not think the Patriots would win this game regardless of the fact that it was in New England.

I said it in another thread but this was a MUST win for the Patriots and not as much for the Broncos. I see them winning out their remainder of the season while the Patriots have a very tough schedule where they could easily lose at least 2 games, which would be devastating to their play-off chances/home field.

It still amazes me how what 100-115 passes were thrown on Sunday.
