Shhhhh... we dont ask that question around here.

We ask it ad nauseam. The answer is simple. It means right now he is not the pocket passer that they are. I don't understand why that is so confusing. The question isn't about what he does now, the question is what can he do by the end of the season. By this time next year. If anyone believes that Kirk or Colt are long term answers, they are desperate and will take anything. RG3 is the only QB that we have on this team that has the POTENTIAL to be great. He is not great today. He has to learn how to read a defense. He has to develop pocket presence. He has got to learn the make decisions quicker. IF he does, we are set. IF he doesn't this is the worst trade in the history of the NFL and we will be in the QB sweepstakes again in 2016.

you know what gets me is the haters claim they dont hate and fight to the death that rg3 is garbage

yet they only say" the defense had a part of it " only in passing yet spend the hole post bitching at rg3 and expect that we believe that nonsense about the defense

they hate Rg3 period i have been fair to every qb they wanted to give a shot too yet they cant do the same with Rg3

first KC would make the offense run right because he reads defenses and is a pocket passer. he fails and they jump to colt and bash KC

i defend KC and now colt is the savior colt plays well and Rg3 gets his job back and we are back to bashing Rg3 to give colt the chance

'the last 3 game s last season meant nothing when they are on KC 's sack but colt and 7-15 was caused by a lame browns team yet Rg'3 's lame redskins mean nothing

What is a Griffin hater?

Worst trade in the history of the NFL? Come on, really? Nothing beats the Saints trading with the Skins so they could draft Ricky Williams. You guys need the bye week more than the team.

Anyone who questions anything Griffin does or holds him accountable for anything. I looked it up in the dictionary.

Sorry, but this beats that trade by a mile.

We traded 4 TOP 100 picks for one player. What the Saints gave up is spare change by comparison.

It probably does beat that trade since it's still not the worst trade in NFL, as that belongs to the Vikings-Cowboys trade which ended up with the Cowboys winning multiple Superbowls. So please tell us again the the Griffin trade is the worst trade in NFL history because we were just only a few players away from winning multiple Superbowls and with those picks we gave up to get Griffin. Those picks were what we needed, and the Rams got away with murder. The Rams have won 2 superbowls. Please tell everyone that J_y19

Saints also got a player that did produce, contrary to most opinions. He had 3 straight 1000 yd years. He is the 3rd most productive RB in Saints history.

And the Skins were how close to winning the Superbowl? No, tell me how close were they to getting in the playoffs? No, no, how close were they to winning the division? NO, oh shit, how close were they to having a winning record before that trade?

About as close aas they have been after the trade apparently. Aside from one season in 2012, the trade has not improved this team in the wins-loss scheme of things at all. In fact since making the trade, over all the Skins are what 16-25. Not really a glowing endorsement of the move.

My logic is, regardless of the trade this team is no better off. No one knows what Mike S would have done with those picks if he kept them. But the fact is we don't have, Rams had, ain't done shit with them. We had one winning season since the trade and 1 losing. Before the trade was made, 2 non winning. Now we'll have another losing season after the trade with 3 different qbs leading this team. Overall the team, management, front office, leadership, and just about everything else is bad. And this team is many years away from constant success.

I agree. Do you know what we did with all those picks we got from the Saints back in 1999? Not much. We traded most of them away and picked up a couple of busts. The only player we got of note as a result of that great trade was Lavar. And we could have had him if we just stayed where we were. So maybe the moral of the story is draft day trades may look good on paper, but don't seem to work out for either parties.

And how were we before the trade? Just as bad, or even worse. This team is just bad. Just years, and years of mismanagement, bad coaches, bad schemes, and bad players. I'm glad it's the bye week. No Skins football, Redskins topics, and underminding bs for 2 weeks. Everyone enjoy you time away, and if you feel the need to not come back, no one blames you. Peace :suds:

I thought about creating a "Prediction Friday" Thread for the bye week. Odds makers already had DC as the dog by 3.5 in that non-game. Seriously, Free, it seems like it'll never stop with this team huh? Enjoy your time off as well!

My take is that during the BYE week we will have some kinda of drama coming out of Ashburn. Its just what we do.

I wonder if all losing teams go through this. I know Dallas does. We can't be that unique, can we?

Its the suck factor. The worse you suck, the more off field stuff comes up to add fuel to the fire. Case in point, three weeks ago rumor was Tannehill was about to be benched. the Dolphins are 5-3 and NO ONE is questioning them using the #8 pick on him. And being in Dolphin country (sort of) I get to see the local stuff where team officials are glad they stayed out of the Bob bidding war and "settled" for the guy who looks to really be developing into a franchise QB for them.

Well, we suck big time so maybe we are kings of the off field crap.
