Have to say that was a fun game to watch! We finally saw both offense and defense really show up at the same time and that kind of game has to have other team's around the league just a bit scared that we could do that. I know they had some players missing but a lot of those players have been missing all year and they still had a top-10 defense and offense. So not like this has been happening to them all year. I definitely would have loved to have seen San Fran at full strength but you play teams with what they got.

Only thing of the game I didn't really like was that of giving up the 2 touchdowns at the end of each half. Just looked like we got lazy at those points and didn't play with quite the same fire. Hard to do at the end when you are up so big I guess but letting Blaine Gabbert of all people throw a touchdown was hard to watch.

Few things that I think deserve some recognition beyond obviously Peyton breaking the record and just looking maybe the best he has as a Bronco yesterday. I want to give a shout out to the run game. There in the 3rd quarter especially when we were starting to pull away and the 49ers knew we were going to start running it we were still able to run with authority. This is what you want in this type of offense is for the run game to be able to close out games. It didn't quite go as well when Osweiler came in but was still decent. The OL and RB's all just were impressive. That was definitely in my opinion Ronnie Hillman's best game as a pro. He was running with authority and we finally saw some of those moves that we drafted him to do in making people miss in the open field.

Also have to say our DL is maybe the best we have ever had in Bronco history. I still can't believe we have DeMarcus Freaking Ware on our team! The guy was flat out beasting against a pretty darn good LT. Then to have Von Miller on the other side. He is just quickly becoming my favorite player to watch. He was so stinking close to having about 5-7 sacks yesterday. If Kaepernick is not as elusive as he is Von Miller has a career day yesterday. His spin move to the inside for a sack didn't even look like he was trying yet just dominated. Beyond that then to keep them well below their season average in the run game in not only yards per game but yards per carry. That was just fun to watch.

Anyway really there is just not enough good that we could say about this game. Hopefully they just keep this momentum going into Thursday and show the Chargers that we truly are still the class of the division.

I thought the defense played there best game of the year so far. The only thing I didnt like was Talib getting beat deep but the pass was overthrown and the TD given up right before half. This right now is the deepest DL in the NFL. Miller, Ware and Smith were all over Kapernick. As for the offense Hillman has become the RB Denver has been looking for this year with his speed and the way he just hits a hole and goes. Thompson has done a good job as well. A power back with Hillman's speed could work out well in the long run. Of course we know when it comes to Hillman its all about his fumbling issues. When Ball gets healthy I dont think Denver should switch anything up right away at the RB position. Just see how it goes and take it from there. D.T. is just unstoppable at this time and it was good to see Welker get a TD as well. Sanders and Hillman with there speed has brought something new to this offense this year. Id like to see the Broncos settle on a RT. Clark or Cornick have to just take the job and be the guy. Congrats on Manning's TD record as well. Time to get ready for the Chargers. Go Broncos!!

Good game for the Broncos. I thought Rahim Moore had a really bad first half, but I didn't notice him as much in the second half. The Broncos defensive line absolutely dominated the line of scrimmage, and Miller and Ware looked exactly like the pass rushing monsters we hoped they could be.

The offense looked so much like last year. Extremely efficient, and they stepped on the 49ers throats when they had the chance. That's the killer instinct that seemed to be missing from the offense at times this season. DT is pretty much uncoverable, and I believe is the best receiver in the NFL right now.

I was impressed with the O-Line and Hillman. The Broncos D looked good, not nearly as many open 9's WR's running clean through the secondary. Von is looking like the Von of 2012 not only in sacks but his total game is back. If they play like this, they will be very tough to beat.

Anybody know why in the world the Broncos made the change at RT? I know they talked a little about how Cornick was expected to maybe handle the bull rush a little better but I actually thought the last game against the Jets he was the best OL player we had on the field as the others all got burned throughout the game where Clark held his own. Just seemed like a weird time to switch up the position. To me Center is where the change needs to happen.

I agree with you. The story is the Broncos thought Cornick was better in run blocking. I don't know about that, but his pass blocking looked pretty awful. On the record touchdown, Cornick got beat pretty badly by the rusher but of course Manning got rid of the ball quickly so it didn't end up mattering. Regardless, I was not impressed with Cornick last night.

Yeah he got beat I think I counted something like 4-5 times pretty easily to the outside. I kept waiting for Manning to get bent sideways. The Broncos finally caught on though and started having the RB or TE chip the guy to help out. To me we should be doing that on almost every play with whoever our RT is as we know Clady most likely holds up on the other side by himself as do most of the other guys on the interior. The RT spot though has been a weak spot for most of the year. I'll be interested to see if they change this depending on the match up or if Cornick is the permanent guy at the position.

I agree. I liked the way the interior played last night though, J Smith wasn't really a factor. I was concerned going in last night as we gave up 5 QB pressures and two sacks against a three man line last week in NY.

Yeah the NY Jets game was a wake up call in my opinion for the OL. I'm hoping the coaching staff got after them and said "This will not be allowed to continue and jobs might be on the line." Again though I thought Clark had his best game at RT against the Jets. It was everybody else and especially Ramirez who just looked down right pathetic in that game against the Jets. So all of that to say I was a bit surprised Clark of all people was the one to lose his starting job this week. Now I am no coach so maybe they saw something different than me but Cornick definitely did not look like the answer either as I was impressed with the rest of the OL but Cornick just got beat time after time. His feet looked like he was in quick sand and couldn't move.

They had Cornick coming in as a 6th lineman in the Jets game, and I saw him on the right side a LOT. Perhaps that had something to do with your perception of Clark?

As for the Jets game, the impression I got was that they were trying to concentrate pressure on a particular side of our O-line. They schemed specifically to make Manning move, and could be something the line wasn't used to seeing or didn't see the Jets do on tape before.:noidea:

Maybe you are right...I didn't watch the Jets game a 2nd time like I do most but just remembered I hadn't heard Clark's name throughout the game and PFF had him as the only OL player to finish with a positive grade but part of that definitely could be he was actually getting quite a bit of help so it makes it a bit easier when you know you only have to block one certain spot knowing there is outside help.

The Jets game was a reminder to me of just how good of a Defensive Minded coach Rex Ryan really is. The guy is a giant tool but I would love to see him coaching this defense. There is talk of Rex getting fired and Del Rio becoming a head coach so wouldn't mind one bit if the Broncos gave him a call. I think he would go crazy with having guys like Ware and Miller getting after the quarterback and a secondary like what we have. Anyway he knows Manning's at his worst when you force him to have to move left in the pocket so he definitely attacked the middle right side of the line and the Broncos just did not respond well. I'm a little surprised we didn't see San Fran try to attack that same spot knowing Ramirez is a real weakness on this line and unfortunately Vasquez with his injury is not quite to his level last year.
