If I can't getv chargers backup back should I do this?
Yep.. but I'd be shocked if there's a true lead back in Denver w/o Ball. But anyone getting a handful of touches in that offense now that they've gone back to wide open is worth it
Oh to answer your questions, yes I think Hillman is worth an add!
Honestly, I would be willing to bet that Anderson gets the bulk of the work.
2 years ago, when Mcgahee went down, everyone assumed that Moreno was out of the mix because he had been inactive the game before. Thing is, Moreno was best suited to be the workhorse, but the Broncos had him inactive because they had a change of pace guy and a return guy. While it looked like Moreno was 4th on the depth chart, he was really second.
Given Hillman's skill set, I am betting that Anderson will be next in line, like Moreno was before. Unless the Broncos say something to the contrary, Anderson is the guy I am adding.
Yea, everyone except Ball seems to do well there. ... sorry, I have him in 2 leagues and have been very disappointed in him - to this point a wasted draft pick.
Yeah I know. . But he also wasnt afforded more than 4 touches. .2 carries and 2 well covered swing passes. .. In the only game they played this year using last year's offense either. .I still say given that situation he'd have been an absolute stud. . Hopefully he's only out a couple weeks
When the basis behind making him a first round pick was so heavily based on scheme. . Yeah. . Makes a big differenceTreff hopefully you are right but the injury didn't occur until week 5. He did very little in the first 4 weeks. Yes, it was a tough schedule and maybe the offensive scheme wasn't what it was last year - - but a first rd pick should be pretty much matchup & scheme proof. .... he was not. Plus, he was seen arguing with Peyton a couple of plays before he went down - not a wise thing to do if you want to be on the field with him.
Maybe a 6th round pick. Still though, Anderson can do the job.

What do you guys think about Juwan Thompson, rookie outta Duke? I never knew much about him - but I've heard reports that he fits the Denver offense better than any of the others, and the staff likes him. With none of them truly worth a major add - I am keeping my eye on this kid and may add him as a flyer if I can find a useless player to drop.
Thoughts?
