Well thankfully Huskers got McNeese out of the way early.
Should be smooth sailing from here.

We had this conversation on our home board and I brought up the fact that in 2010 we eviscerated Washington on national TV 56-21.
The following week we scraped by the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 17-3 in which they had several easy opportunities to score that they squandered.
We went on to destroy Kansas State the next week where Taylor became a favorite for the Heisman.
We were curbstomped and embarrassed in Lincoln by a 5-7 Texas team
We went on to make the Big 12 championship game that year where we took Oklahoma to the wire 20-23.
My point is shit changes week to week real quick early in the season.
Exactly. From what we've been hearing lately, the Big Ten is so terrible McNeese State would finish 3rd at worst.
that's not what has been said at all.
it's just that a team in the top third of the conference that struggles with mcneese state means the conference is probably pretty weak compared to other conferences. and if it were one data point we could forgive it a bit. but when you add in all the other unattractive big 10 results... the conference just looks poor. can you name ANY game where you can point to the conference and be like.. see, not too bad?
penn state handled central florida pretty well. if they end up winning 9 or more games that will be a decent win. wisconsin's loss to lsu was competitive and close. if lsu does very well in the SEC that could bode well for the big 10. but lsu is way more likely to finish 3rd or worst in the SEC West than they are to win the division, much less the conference.
but hey... keep on taking reasonable statements and turning it into S-E-C talk that isn't even happening if it makes you feel better about the sorry results the big 10 has put on the field to start the season.
i see you enlarged and bolded "TO START THE SEASON'
yes. to start the season.
could you please point to results for the remainder of the season that could occur that will alter the perception that the conference is subpar?
I dunno, are you gonna lift that restraining order on Oklahoma for the beating they put on your bitch ass?
