Yea, I was just concerned about other recruits that were already committed..........I didn't want them calling and talking with Watson 3 days before signing, and then after signing they find out Watson isn't coming back next season.

But now it sounds like Watson and Gilmore weren't even keeping in contact with any recruits at all.

Which begs the question.......why were Watson and Gilmore even on our staff over the past few weeks? Ahh, here I go again .....I said I wouldn't talk about that anymore.

I don't think they do much recruiting, but I have always heard they contact commits and talk with them over the phone quite a bit. I've always heard Watson talks with all his skill position commits. It is said by many that Bubba is in love with Watson.

I also read that Bubba was recruited primarily by Shawn Watson. But that's not to say Scott Frost couldn't do better. I'm sure he certainly could, being an ex-husker/national championship qb.
