LOL @ eating with anything other than disposable chopsticks

Ate a whole meal with chopsticks for the first time last night. I was surprised at how easy it is.

All Suttle needs to do is donate a bunch of money to the Husker football team and he'll be right up there with the best of 'em

That's part of the problem with democrats. Their tax records show they are tight wads when it comes to them donating to charity. However, they like to enact laws that make it mandatory for every one else to.

Enough is enough on the raising taxes bullshit...

this should improve your evening poop.

Honestly, I've never had such mixed feelings after a win. I mean, I was elated that we won and I was on the field for the game, so the crowd noise and energy was the most electric I've ever felt at the end. It was incredible, probably the closest thing you can get to a natural high.
But I also felt like we really had no business winning that game. Nebraska had so many missed chances and dominated the trenches. The cool thing was leaving the stadium, so many Huskers were coming to me and congratulating me and were so cool to talk football with. I know if I had just suffered such a devastating loss at the very end, I would have been so upset I wouldn't have been able to talk to anybody.
Your fans gained so much respect, not just from me, but from every other Hokie I talked to that day and since. Not saying that to suck up or anything. I was truly amazed by the class of y'alls fans.

is the vehicle tax related to the purchase or registering? is it expensive to register a car up there...y'all have something called a wheel tax, right?

I bought it in Jan 2009 so I paid the sales taxes then. The $551.00 is for licence and regristration that must be renewed every year. It's supposed to go down as the vehicle gets older. It's gone up both years. :L

However, I will say........supposedly Warren Buffet makes quite a generous donation to the Nebraska Athletic Program, but he asks that the amount he donates is not released for public knowledge.

I agree. That's the way I am after losses, especially really tough ones. That's what made it even more amazing to see how cool the Husker fans were to us after the game.

I think most of the blame and hatred went right on Matt O'Hanlon. Is he still with the Giants?

It balances out......

Like I dunno what you pay for insurance...

But for me, to live in Iowa... I could register my truck for 50 a year... and pay 200 a month in insurance....

Or I could move a mile across the river in Nebraska..... pay 400 to license my truck and 90 a month for insurance.....

Or I can live in south Dakota....... pay 300 a year to license my truck and 120 a month fo insurance...

I have addresses in two states though........ :D

Yeah, I'm not talking about Buffett. He's not a politician making laws...

He's very generous to charity..

After that loss to Virginia Tech.............well, I was at a company party with a girl, and none of them were really getting into the game too much. I yelled a few things..........but when we left there I unleashed.

Sitting there for 30 mins after the game and not being able to cuss was probably the hardest thing I've ever done..........just the fact that I couldn't cuss or vent made me want to start crying, I was so pissed off.

We left there and I went off screaming about anything and everything for the whole 30 minute drive home.......then I laid on the couch and tried to pretend that game was just a bad dream

i pay around 100 bucks a month for insurance. full coverage on one and liability on another......plus a fucking wife that cant drive worth a shit with 2 accidents and a speeding ticket on her record.

the difference might be property insurance. i pay 1300 a year to cover my house.

Meh..... one that wasn't O'Hanlons responsibility on that play even though it appeared to be because he is the one who made the tackle.... two... Tyrod still had way too much damn time on that play you are talking about......
