Hey folks. As you may have heard our old board KFFL is shutting down. So I hope you don't mind if we migrate here. The Redskins board is a small group but we've been together for a long time and know each other well.

On the old board I put up the following thread. Lots of inside stuff that may not work here. But I just had to let out my secret before we all disbanded. Hope you don't mind and some of the old crew see it

ESPN was kind of fun since there was no regulation pretty much, but we knew that would end up being what brought it down some day.

ESPN was kind of fun since there was no regulation pretty much, but we knew that would end up being what brought it down some day.

KFFL was a Fantasy Football site that also had forums. USAToday bought the Fantasy Football content portion of KFFL and it was unclear if USAToday would keep the forums alive. So some of us early adopters ventured out to find a new home, and we found SportsHoopla. This morning, KFFL appeared to be closed as the message we got was that the domain name was not renewed and expired on Sept 1. Turns out that was just a low budget hack and its back up and running now, but no on really knows what is going to happen to the forums. They may stay alive, or may vanish suddenly again. The owners of KFFL were posters also and are trying to keep us all in the loop, but no on really knows what the future will bring, so people are just migrating over here in the meantime.

I can keep up with two forums, so right now its KFFL and here. If KFFL closes, it will be CPND and here for me. I've known the CPND folks since the old Talk Central days on Washington Post before it shuttered the first time. Back about 1996/97 or so.

I quit the ESPN boards around 2001 or so. I recall a few posters names there but not many, they've all mostly scattered. I was, interestingly enough, called KickSaveDave on ESPN also. Clever, I know.

Let me explain. Erk is a very rare bird, an Eagles fan who is actually cool. In fact we are friends despite the fact that he lives in a split level. Davekn was my lame old username.
