Well my planing worked out as expected. I was able to jump the guy with the #1 overall pick because he kept 4 players to my 3 players. I was a little worried after I traded for Kaep but it all worked out in the end. Got a few interesting targets on the vet front to look at or we can go rookie. Not without flaws but still interesting none the less.

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, Flex, DT, DE, LB, CB, S, 3 DP, K, P
PPR

Keepers
QB- Kaepernick
RB- Gio
WR- DT

Potential targets for the pick are Trent Richardson, Andre Ellington, Michael Floyd and Randall Cobb. Richardson being the most risky of the bunch. I'm rather high on Ellington and could easily see taking him. I like Cobb a lot as well but last year was a total bust for him. Floyd is everyone's super hype sleeper in dynasty circles this year. Could do something like Ellington and Sankey and have my 3 young RB's to build with and take the best available WR at the top of the 6 still without the snake going into effect.

I'd lean Ellington. He is going to be an every down back for Arizona, and I always like to lean toward high-volume RBs over WRs, even in PPR leagues.

I like Cobb myself but there is the question of who you would be able to draft at RB when the actuall draft starts so I could see Ellington as a very legit pick too (even though I'm not as high on him as most). Still, in a 16 team PPR I would say you have a great start................don't forget, Cobb wasn't really a bust, it was his leg that was a bust on a totally fucked up looking hit. Week 17 (first game back) 2 Targets, 2 catches, 2 TD's..............

Did a quick check on keepers and only two of us will be drafting in the 4th round. My team and the team that finished in 3rd place last season. I will have 2 of the top 4 picks and 3 of the top 6 picks and 4 of the top 8 picks I believe. If my math skills are working this morning ;).

I hate kap but gimme ellington

I think Kaepernick should be top 10 easy this year so we will see. But looking at the alternative I think it's easy to say I made the correct choice on bringing him on. The QB's available are Palmer, Tannehill, A Smith, Flacco, Henne, G Smith, Bradford and the rookie QB's.

Ellington by a rather large margin, with Cobb and Floyd closer together than most people think.

Hopefully you can get Floyd in round 2 if some teams are keeping more players.

I am not sure. You could have had Ellington AND Cobb had you not made the trade.

Basically you traded Cobb and a 7th rounder for Kaeps because you lost the opportunity to make another early draft pick.

Agree to disagree at this point. I think you just don't like the guy so you are going to beat a dead horse on the subject. He came on strong at the end of last year. Against teams like Arizona, Tampa Bay, Seattle and the Rams. I see him rising up the rankings easily if he doesn't get off to a slow start like last year. He finished in 14th place last season. Give him his average of 27 fp/g in those 4 bad weeks he's top 10. I can see Dalton, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Newton, Romo and Palmer all having regression this season.

All I need is 2 picks not to be Cobb and I will get him. With this group you never know what they are thinking. Some guys used 1st picks on the likes of EJ Manuel, DeSean Jackson, Johnny Football and Pierre Thomas last night.

As far as fantasy goes, it doesn't matter where the points come from. As far as passing, his passer rating was better than Tannehill's (and even Luck's, Brady's, Ryan's and Stafford's) and much, much better than Flacco's. I'm not all that high on Kaepernick as a fantasy QB but he's not that bad a passer.

Like Treff I take Cobb, with Ellington a close second. But I think Cobb may be the top wideout this year, and I think people are expecting too much from Ellington, considering they say they don't want to run him between the tackles.

rating i think is junk, so is qbr, but point is qb's who have subpar passing numbers almost always die out, name one who has succeeded making a living with his legs...
