Anybody QB who is taken #2 overall is pretty much infallible in fan's opinions a handful of seasons. That's just the way fans behave.
Seems a bit early to me to say "I told you so". He's beginning his third year after a very good rookie season in which he got hurt in the playoffs followed by a year in which he, along with the rest of his team, struggled.
Not just #2, but giving up that much.
Like a certain RB that was drafted in lieu of an entire draft![]()
Two years ago, congrats? Dallas was playing for the East championship in the final week last year, but without our starter.
As for the way Snyder has changed, what was the stat I heard the other day...in the last 6 years the Skins have been in last place 5 of the 6. There is certainly a fluke in those 6 years, but the conference champ ain't it.![]()

Great - if you are lucky the Cowboys will be playing for (and losing) the NFC-E title for the next 3-4 years. Laughable that you use Romo as an excuse since we all know how great he plays in big games such as that one.
I have no argument with your facts about the record under Snyder. He created a mess & along with the cap sanctions it takes a while to undo all of that. I am just maintaining that (unlike Jones) he doesn't make the personnel decisions at this time & that should pay dividends in the next several years.

Your assumption is that the guys he hired to make those decisions will fare any better......of that I am NOT convinced.
Granted, they have a better chance than Jerry Jones of making solid decisions.

I honestly think Griffin's biggest issue is coaching.
He responds to coaches he likes, like Art Briles. You give him quality coaching and leadership, and you'll get the best out of him. We'll see if the new regime gets that and adjusts accordingly.

According to reports, Jerry isn't making the personnel decisions here either. That's what the latest news has been all about.![]()
Is it coaches he likes, or coaches he controls?
You think he controlled Briles? Not sure I see that. I don't think he respects or trusts any of the coaches he's had since college.
wait, what RB are you talking about? I'm talking about Ricky, and the Skins were on the right side of that trade!
I was thinking Walker for the Boys... Didn't read your post right...
