Just saw that Arieta has allowed 1 earned run or less in 12 of his 20 games. Held his old Oriole team to 1 run today. Pretty amazing.

There was 4 of us sitting together three rows back about 20 feet past the 3rd base baseman.
There was a great story about 2 kids from Baylor who were listening to the game down in Waco. In the 2nd inning, they told their buddies Nolan was getting ready to pitch his 7th no-no and they took off for Arlington.
Of course their friends thought they were crazy. But they drove like bandits, got to the stadium and saw the last 2 innings.
