Micro with the visual effects. You so understand me...just not like that bro
It's cool. You guys don't know me. It's tough to ruffle my feathers. Life's too short to let yahoo's on the internet get you riled up. Besides, I'm normally a bit of a sarcastic ass.
We're good.
So the line was drawn.... do not cross it
Smitty is a little hurt
This is how a bromance is started
You do realize that the defense gave up 18, 23, and 14 points the last 3 weeks of the season last year, don't you? Had they won 2 of those games, they would have made the playoffs.

Welcome. You'll fit right in with the rest of the misguided souls.
There is always context to stats...
In the Baltimore game, the offense was 4/13 (31%) on 3rd downs and Stafford threw 3 INTs.
In the Giants game, the offense was better on 3rd downs (47%), but Stafford threw 2 INTs, including a pick 6.
In the Vikings game, the offense was 5/15 (33%) on 3rd downs.
And on the flip side, the Lions defense ranked 1st in # of 3rd down conversions against them...7th in the last three games.
The defense did it's job the last 3 weeks of last season, giving up points in the teens each week.
I was just going to post about the league-leading 3rd down defense. I think we were also right up there in lowest redzone TD percentage, and overall redzone scoring. Not bad areas for the defense to be among the best at, imo. I'd rather be better at preventing a team from scoring than keeping their QB's numbers down...
