I think you are way high on Kaep.

ADP has him outside the top 10 QBs pretty much everywhere. He has been going past the 10th round in most 12 team drafts I have down. Might he go sooner in a 14 teamer, sure. But not second round.

Alshon Jeffrey is the only player on your roster worthy of considering in the top 30 and I do believe he would be gone by the time you pick at 27, so it is not a zero sum game.

You may have Kaep as the 5th best QB, but you are about the only one. Do yourself a favor and look to draft him in round 5 or 6. Your team will be a lot better for it.

Eloquent Tlance well said

Also, if Jeffrey and Kaeps are your top 2 players, you might as well start thinking about 2015.

CBS has Kaep as the 7th best QB. Being drafted at pick #48 on average.

Jeffrey at 9th WR being drafted at #30 on average.

So, keep Jeffrey. At pick #27 take best RB available. Pick #30 take best RB/WR available given the situation. Then take QB. I can see that.

This is an extremely childish reply. I took 2nd in this league last season. It's a big money league. I posted my squad and it was as solid as it comes for 14 teams IMO.

Not childish, it is the truth. Finishing second last year will not make your team any better this year.

You are at a large disadvantage picking 13 and 27 with your first two. Without a dynamic keeper the deck is stacked against you.

I have not seen CBS rankings, but those are way off from every other expert ranking I have seen. Kaeps at 48 overall is ridiculous. Jeffrey is also ranked higher on the other sites.

If you need to pay that much of a premium for Kaeps, then I suggest waiting and grabbing a Romo or Newton who are better values. I promise that your team will not be competitive if you spend a top 50 pick on a QB who is league average at best. You are already in a big hole, so you can't afford to wast any value at all.

My keeper last season was Trent Richardson. Picked 14th. Gods honest truth there.

Got Gordon in the last round or two of the draft which offset that debacle, though.

Point is...you're never out.

That makes a lot of sense actually. Gordon and Jeffrey saved your bacon last year. My whole point is that spending a premium pick on Kaeps will put you in an even bigger hole than you were last year. You can't count on drafting 2 elite WRs in the late rounds every year.

Seriously though, it is a good idea to be familiar with the default ranks on the site you are drafting, but go look at Y! for a comparison. Their ranks are the best of any major site and I think comparing their list to CBS' could help you find some good values.

Having Crabtree all season would be reason #1.

Having Carlos Hyde would be #2.

Having a new contract to live up to would be #3.

Wow did that go south in a hurry. Jeffery is the best guy on your team, without question. Keep him. If you don't agree, than so be it, but there no convincing any rational person that Kaeps is a better keep.

Best of luck to you either way.

It certainly went south when that Steelers idiot intervened. If anyone can read I did agree that Jeffrey is the better option.
