The most recent one would have to be 4th and 16 against LSU in the Peach Bowl:

I'll also never forget Warren Sapp and his buddies all sitting on the sideline with oxygen masks on looking like they were about to pass out. They really didn't want any more.

yea, yea. I'll tell ya one that sticks out in my mind is a play from the mid to late 90's I think. Weinke was the QB. We had ya'll pushed back near the goal line and Weinke pulls off an incredible PA ball fake. He turns his back to the LoS and hides the ball against his chest and the entire D bites on the run, then he drops one over the top to a wide open WR for a 90+ yd TD. I remember it well.

#1 OU had been upset by KU the week before and had to go to Mizoo to play. don't know that it defined OU, but it kept them in the hunt for the MNC in 1975, which they did end winning. OU is down by 7 late in the game and it is 4th down. Joe gets the pitch and makes a great 75 yard run to tie the game. You'll have to watch the rest.

Hard to pick just one, but I'm going with:

Notre Dame Stadium
4th and 9
1:32 left in the game
80,000+ screaming Notre Dame fans

No Problem.

Fight On!!

I was at that Missouri game with my Dad and some friends. I had seen the Kansas game in Norman the week before when we lost after they kept fumbling the damn ball all day and I almost gave up on them and didn't go to Columbia the next week. What happened after Little Joe scored on the 2 point play for us to go ahead was enough to give all of us heart attacks. Missouri had a hell of a QB named Steve Pisarkiewicz. He led the Tigers right back down the field; he was virtually unstoppable. I'll never forget how they let the grass grow about 4 inches tall and the yard lines were mowed at about 1 inch tall. The field was only a little better to play on than a pasture. And it looked like they had been watering the grass before the game....anything to slow OU down. The last offensive play of the game for Missouri when they got intercepted was in front of us on about the 5 yard line with just seconds to go. Unbelievable. After the game there were hundreds of whiskey bottles laying all around the stands. I'll never forget all those whiskey bottles.

"The Pick" by Kenny Wheaton. Sent Oregon to a Rose bowl and PAC title. The first of either in decades. The victory over UW ended their dominance over the Ducks. UO is 15-5 vs UW since this play along with 6 PAC titles.

Enjoy the call by Jerry Allen.

We had both sets of grandparents (in their 70's) over, some aunts/uncles/cousins, and our living room erupted. Nobody was sitting down after that punt return.

Watching it still sends shivers up my spine to this day.

For Texas it would be Rickie Williams breaking the record for all time rushing yardage. I really can't think of one play for Ohio State.

All time would be the Auburn return of the Alabama field goal attempt. The California run into the Stanford band and Doug Flutie's incredible hail mary pass.
