That is no clip. The NU blocker is on the 39 when the OU defender is on the 41. He's already in front of him, therefore it's impossible to have clipped him. The block was in the side at worst and even that would not have been a clip.

Everett Marshal was moving a lot faster than the defender. Marshal was hit in the back, not the side or the front, and the defender's arm even went across Marshal's right shoulder. It was a clip. At the reunion, the Nebraska players admitted the call could have been called a clip. Life goes on.

On the negative end. Boston's TD (and the questionable PI call leading up to it) to lose the NC. If ASU wins the NC, the program trajectory is completely different. It very much exemplifies the "Almost but not quite" nature of ASU football over the last few decades.

I was a student at ASU and in the stands for that one. I was physically ill after it, literally made me sick to my stomach. Fucking prevent D prevents you for winning nearly every time.

My brother was at the game. Said his wife couldn't hear out of her left ear for 3 days from the eruption of noise on that play. Truly awesome moment during a truly awesome championship run. I was in tears before the play happened because I just knew Tennessee was going to ruin our season. When Mount Cody blocked the FG, I almost jumped right into a moving ceiling fan above me I was so happy









Even with only 92,000 seats, I think that is the loudest I have ever heard Bryant Denny Stadium.

I do remember this. I never really got much into college football when I was younger, but I always watched the games. I remember just being defeated at half-time and then at the end of the game going "WTF just happened?!?! I can't believe this!"

I'm going to pick 2 that tie (they were during the same game). I didn't really get into college football until about 2007. I always watched the games or at least tried, but never really followed it that much. So, I'm going to be picking plays from this last year's NC game

The first is this one
I remember it so vividly because I was streaming the game on my Roku and just before the kickoff, the fucking stream went out. Wasn't the first time it had happened that game, but it was the first time it happened right as football was about to be played. I let out a "Fuck!!" and hurry to get the stream back up. I get the stream back up to just see Whitfield running in the back of the endzone and the score flip over. I then proceed to yell "I MISSED IT!!!! I FUCKING MISSED IT!!!!". My wife had decided to go to bed since she was tired and it was pretty late, but when she heard me yell, she came running down and after she saw what happened she decided to stay up and support me the rest of the game (she's a keeper!!!).

I also forgot to mention that my step-son (he's 8) was given a FSU hoody from my MIL and he wore it during every game day after he got it. Since this was at night and he was in bed, he wasn't wearing the hoody. At halftime my wife wakes up my step-son, explains to him about the game and makes him put on the hoody for good luck. He does so with no complaints and goes back to bed.

The reason this sticks in my head is because when Auburn got the ball I turn to my wife and say "We need a turnover. If we don't get a turnover on this possession, this game is over and FSU lost. They won't be able to comeback." And then the fucker happens. It hadn't happened all game and then it does!!! And then he fumbled it. And then our guy picks it up. SOOOO MANY EMOTIONS!!!!

Like nathan vasher [former best returner in the NFL] diving to catch a punt on our own 3 yard line to down the ball, down 7-3 setting up the Roy Williams [OU] Superman tackle over the OLine to crush Simms. WTF what he thinking?

Also, why did McCoy snap the ball with 22 seconds left on the play clock on 2nd a Goal to take the lead at the end of the game with only a minute and a half left in the game???
