I believe once Rios and Cotts depart we will have the least talented team of the last place contenders. Though after the Cubs sent Hammel and Shark to Oakland, their pitching staff which includes the likes of Edwin Jackson can't be too formidable but their offense is likely better I would say.

Thompson starts tomorrow, let's see how it goes. I could be wrong guys, but I'm telling you from meeting the kid and watching him pitch several times before, he won't be nervous. I bet he walks one or less tomorrow and has a decent outing. Be patient with him though, cuz remember this is only his second AA start.
