He's taking time off. Seems - can't quote the numbers - but he negotiated an abbreviated broadcast schedule for this season. Which means in reality, he'll be retiring within a few years.

I'll reserve my comments regarding such for now.

That's actually probably why they took him out. No sense in risking further injury. My guess is JD has communicated as much to wash on a few of our players.
