What has he done since the Patriots got busted with spygate? Just saying.
Good point, but IMO Brady is a better QB than Peyton and Favre was a little overrated. Just my opinion.

I think what he's saying is that, Brady has more rings and didn't/hasn't choked as much as Peyton and Favre did in the past.

Dont waste your time. He likes bringing up spygate. Be as dumb as me saying Denver hasnt won anything since caught cheating by having salary cap violations. Now that sounds dumb too

Malibu Brady and the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl but they have been to 2 and have been in the AFC Championship game 4 of the last 7 years. That is a model of consistency in my opinion. Yes Super Bowls are the ultimate goal but having a team year in and year out that is one of the top 4 or so teams in the league is pretty impressive.

Spygate was first game of 07 Season when they were the only team to go 16-0 in reg season. They have been to the AFCG last 3 years in a row and Brady has gone to 8 and 5 SB's. Manning has 8 one and dones, just saying. I remember the Xmas gift in the New Orleans SB and the nice throw to the Ravens the year before. The year he got his one ring 3 td's and 7 int in post-season thats remarable

look at the 90's Denver was the class of the AFC going to 5 and winning 2. Buffalo was the 2nd best going to 4 SB's in a row but we know how that turned out. NFC was a powerhouse back then, just like they are now

Haha thanks sonnyblack. My team can't be the only good team in the league. NE stands the best chance of unseating the Broncos from the top of the AFC this year and a big part of that is them having Tom Brady. I watched both of our teams suffer through really bad injuries and still rise to the top. I could see either of them not only winning the AFC but the Super Bowl.

I can also recognize Peyton has struggled in some big games. I do think part of that is nerves but I think another part is he has not played on great teams around him so he has felt the need to force more than he should. Brady and Manning both should be on great teams with lots of talent around them and I expect both to have a great years and truly do think one of them will be holding the Lombardi at the end of the year.

Yep, I can't get enough of looking at Peyton Manning's eyes, when the ball was snapped over his head into the end zone.

It was crazy he was a dear in headlights after the safety. Different but comparible situation, Wilson fumbling on the first drive of the NFC Champ game...... shook it off and won the ball game. I couldn't believe how rattled Manning was, did you see the Sound FX show of the game?

Fun fact. Seattle didn't Sack Peyton once during the superbowl. Showing how that stat is (OP in mind) a Overrated stat. They never got there, but they were in his kitchen all game long. And the LOB was in his head.

I think you hit it on the head with Manning. I think he tries to shoulder to much, instead of leaning on team. Plus I think because of how smart he is, the coaches let him make his own calls. I remember a game where it was 1st and goal on the 1 yard line and he tried 3 consecutive passes. I remember him and Jeff Saturday going at it, with Jeff saying lets run the ball and Peyton yelling that he makes the decisions and for Jeff to basically STFU

Yep I remember the 07 SB and not comparing the Giants D to Seattle by any stretch, they sacked Brady 6 times that game, and still took a crazy catch to lose

The only reason these threads go anywhere is because Seattle fans try to play defense like their team does.

Hahahahahahhaha! Nice.

Yep, just call my Johnny (Oldtimer) Holmes.

Even Linda couldn't handle me.

Too late I blew this one up and hung it in bathroom. You have a lot of admirers. Gonna have it lamenated, just in case , so it doesnt get wet or stained

Quickly chiming in on the Brady v Manning debate. Both are HOF, two of the all time greats. Brady won his "russel wilson" super bowls when he wasn't shouldering the load. I think the lack of rings for these two the last however many years just goes to show you that you need more then just a franchise QB.

When Brady had Moss and Welker, or two healthy elite TE's the offense was ridiculous. When he hasn't, he's made Edelman and amendola look great

When Mannings had DT, Welker and Decker (PS did decker even fly to NY for the superbowl) the offense was ridiculous. When he hasn't had those types of weapons he's made Austin Collies and anthony gonzalez's of the world look great.

No doubt and both first ballet HOFers and prob top 5 of all-time. I think most inc myself would put Montana there. If Brady won the 2 vs NY then it would be debatable. I'm honestly gonna miss the rivalry with these 2. Another Magic vs Bird or Ali vs Frazier

Yeah, I never understood how the NFL magically had them matchup every year,. The NFL makes that happen, yet doesn't allow Seattle a home primetime SNF/MNF game the year they are defending superbowl champs......smh

Yep makes no sense. I also like catching when Seattle and SF play. 2 Monster D's trying to contain Wilson and Kap. I'm looking for bodybags near the med team
