Haha thanks sonnyblack. My team can't be the only good team in the league. NE stands the best chance of unseating the Broncos from the top of the AFC this year and a big part of that is them having Tom Brady. I watched both of our teams suffer through really bad injuries and still rise to the top. I could see either of them not only winning the AFC but the Super Bowl.

I can also recognize Peyton has struggled in some big games. I do think part of that is nerves but I think another part is he has not played on great teams around him so he has felt the need to force more than he should. Brady and Manning both should be on great teams with lots of talent around them and I expect both to have a great years and truly do think one of them will be holding the Lombardi at the end of the year.
Beware of the Chargers this year.

Yeah, I never understood how the NFL magically had them matchup every year,. The NFL makes that happen, yet doesn't allow Seattle a home primetime SNF/MNF game the year they are defending superbowl champs......smh
The Seahawks have one prime Sunday night game, one prime Monday night game and two prime Thursday night games this year.

It was crazy he was a dear in headlights after the safety. Different but comparible situation, Wilson fumbling on the first drive of the NFC Champ game...... shook it off and won the ball game. I couldn't believe how rattled Manning was, did you see the Sound FX show of the game?

Fun fact. Seattle didn't Sack Peyton once during the superbowl. Showing how that stat is (OP in mind) a Overrated stat. They never got there, but they were in his kitchen all game long. And the LOB was in his head.
Good comment. The Hawks didn't need to sack Peyton in the SB! He throw the ball way too early most of time, because he didn't want to take the hit. If you remember correctly, Peyton took quite a few hits after he threw the ball. I sure hope the Broncos protect him better this season, as they must face the four good defenses of the NFC West and believe me, all four will be coming after him.

Also, I know Peyton broke a record for the most completions in a SB, but most of those passes were of the 4/5 yard junk pass, as the Broncos couldn't run the ball.

Go check my post again, I said HOME game. We play At Wash, At SF and At a third (forget who)

the only HOME primetime game is the opening Thursday nighter which they had to give as superbowl champs.

Articles were written about how the nfl doesn't like how SEattle blows people out every home primetime game the last few years, SF, NO, SF again.....

A league source told ProFootballTalk that the Seahawks didn't get anymore prime-time home games because the NFL was "wary of putting Seahawks home games on in prime time due to their track record of blowouts in nationally televised games played in Seattle the last several seasons."

The meltdown WAS them losing to the Pistons.
Thanks. Yeah, it was a meltdown. The Lakers had been to 4 out of the last five Finals and IMO, the Pistons were just a better team in 04.

Not really magic. Both of them usually won their division meaning they would play 1st place schedules and since they were in the AFC that meant playing each other. NFL schedules are not magic but known very much in advance other than a couple of games a season.

I am happy not to have to wait until prime time to watch the Seahawks. The sooner the game starts the better I like it.
