Not sure they could keep Bledsoe if they go after Deng. May allow the Heat to make a play at Bledsoe or Monroe....

Yeah but I think they might have the cap. No way they pair Thomas and dragic in the same backcourt. Both not great on Defense

The Suns have roughly $30 mil in space minus Thomas' $7 mil or so. That leaves them with plenty of space to still sign Deng & Bledsoe. And that is just if they want stay at the $63 mil cap. They could go over if they chose to in order to resign Bledsoe.

I don't know how Heat fans think they would have more space than the Suns to pursue Bledsoe. It's laughable.

That rumored 3 way trade is pure BS & bogus. It makes no sense for the Warriors at all. If they were going to give up Klay, they would do so for Love in return, not a bunch of picks. It's the internet fellas, don't believe everything you read.

They could afford both, but my guess is a trade would be coming for Kevin Love if they get Deng. They definitely have the assets to get it done and signing Deng would further ensure that. This could get interesting. And before you ask, yes... Love has reportedly said he'd be willing to sign long term in Phoenix.

Most of the internet wants to believe it so Cleveland could form a super team and win a title to complete the feel good story. Which in this scenario would cost the Warriors the most. No way that trade would happen. Kerr would flip his shit.

If the Suns sign Deng, there definitely has to be a big trade in the works. We would have 4 SF & 4 PG on the roster not counting Ish who is on a non-guaranteed contract & will be shipped or released.

Hell, I am a Suns fan & I would flip my shit for the Warriors if this happened. This would reak of the NBA being fixed.

Uhh. They would not trade both of them for Love, especially if they sign Deng. It's likely one or the other or possibly even neither of them, because the Suns have tons of draft picks and could even take on Kevin Martin's contract and then waive him if they wanted. Getting rid of Martin's contract is something Minnesota really wants to do and we can make it happen along with sending young talent and multiple picks.

Just doesn't make sense to me. How do they trade bledsou and pair Thomas and dragic in the backcourt that's not good defensively IMO. If they trade dragic it's a lateral move IMO

So anyone have the source that said love would re sign with the suns?

Darren Wolfson (the TWolves beat writer) tweeted it out about a week ago saying that Love would be open to re-signing in Phoenix. I'm too lazy to go through all of his tweets and find it, but feel free to do so yourself.

They also have Gerald Green and Archie Goodwin at SG so Thomas could remain the backup PG. Plus Martin is likely included in any trade involving Phoenix.

Let's say it takes Bledsoe, Warren and the Morri & a 1st rounder (this is A LOT) for Love and Martin. That leaves this depth chart.

Dragic-Thomas-Ennis
Green-Goodwin
Deng-Tucker
Love- FA
Plumlee-Len

(possibly Martin depending on what they do with him)

That's not a bad line up. Should at least get you in the playoffs. You'd probably be the top seed out in the East. Kidding on that last part, kind of.

That team would give up 110 points per game.
