What the hell are the Rockets doing?

They bail on a 900K contract for Parsons, trade Asik, trade Lin, trade 2 first round picks....

And they end up with Trevor Ariza for 10 times this price of Chandler Parsons.

huh???

I'm hoping the fact that the Rockets front office will get killed for signing off on 8 figures a year after bailing on the $900K for Parsons will keep them from matching the Mavs offer. Parsons is a perfect fit in big D

They can match it though

Heat might lose Deng to Phoenix or Dallas if they don't hurry.
As of last night, Heat & Luol Deng still significantly apart on salary, sources say. Deng's been turning down $10M/year offers for months

Turning it down vs being offered more are 2 different things.
Is anyone offering more?
Is he worth more? I don't think so, maybe in this years market 12 at best.

you mean #1

IMO, Cleveland is the only East team who can beat a healthy Bulls squad, and that hinges on them making some significant roster moves.

While I think the Gasol signing is good, they still have a gaping hole of the wing. IMO, they would have been better off making a play for Ariza, because they need a perimeter scorer more than they need another skilled big man.

Agree we need a wing player. Snell looked good in the bulls 1st summer league game.

Nothing much - Doing well - Hope you are just as well man.

So busy at work hadn't logged on to FN in months and then when I did found out it was basically kaput. This site reminds me of another site that looks very similar called "Utopia Guide" when I used to be a monger...!!!

If this trade goes through then no doubt Silver has the NBA fixed. He gace the Cavs the 1st pick knowing it will entice the poster boy to go home for a great story of the prodigal son. Now he needs to stack the team.
