Series Thread: Rangers at that dump in Oakland 6/16-18

It works for some teams but somehow he needs to realize what he is doing does not work for Oakland and he needs to change his game plan accordingly. Not sure if he has been told but ignores it and does his own thing or what. A catcher can call what pitch to throw but pitchers can shake that sign off.

He is obviously his worst enemy. He sees his success with other teams and thinks Oakland should follow suit. Pride or arrogance is not an appealing quality. I bet he is being told this constantly.

I have watched Tepesch throw to 3 hitters and the first pitch to all 3 was a ball. Not to mention that a whole lot of other pitches have been too.

Make that to all 4 batters now.

Guy's playing out of position and at a higher level than he should be but we can hope he can come through I guess. Which is what I have decided is all I can do at his point. Trying to stay positive for me is hard as hell with the expectations I had with that past few years, just trying to keep in perspective the team is decimated by injuries

Not much to offer but we can't go anywhere but up. And we will but not this year.

Big issue for Darvish yesterday was he was getting ZERO calls low in the zone,

In my mind he was pitching well low in the zone and challenging hitters, but once the hitters knew the ump was going to call anything low he either had to come up into the hitters zone or throw balls
