How fucking long can it possibly take for the Texans to call the guy and make the pick? It's like they don't even know who they want.

They will probably wait until that clock hits 0, waiting for trade offers.

Texans really don't NEED Clowney and he doesn't fit their scheme at all. The best thing they can do is let anxious GMs freak out and start a bidding war with each other as that clock ticks down.

Ever do Ebay? What happens when that timer starts ticking down? Users start a bidding war and more often than not the seller walks away quite happy.

Amazing how many of you do not understand the draft. As that timer ticks down GMs get more and more anxious to pull a trade and sell the farm. Unless there is just THAT guy at #1 that you REALLY want, it's not gonna happen.

Clowney is a 4-3 DE that would be drafted by a 3-4 team that already has the best 3-4 DE in the NFL. Why the F would you just take Clowney right away?

Scheme is irrelevant when it comes to a talent like Clowney. He is the best DE prospect since Mario Williams. The only concern about Clowney is if he will actually try or not.
