damn. looks like floyds gonna come back and win this one. The other guy just got worn down. Mayweather has freakin mastered the art of defense in boxing.

floyd wont fight pacquiao. he wants to remain unbeaten so he can say he was the best of all time. he knows pac is his best competition and at 37 years old he wont fight him to jeopardize that. maybe 5 years ago, but not now

This guy here gave him a good fight it could have gone either way, floyd had a look on his face like he was going to lose at one point when they were announcing the winner. If pac and mayweather were too fight just think of the money the bout would earn it would be like 50M each or something absurd like that and be the biggest $$$ event in the history of the world!

ehh. floyd won the entire last half of the fight imo. The other guy was going for the knock out the entire time. But floyd is the best defensive boxer to ever live and he picked him apart as the fight went on. It was maybe closer then the judges had it, but I was pretty sure floyd won. I was actually pretty surprised one judge had a draw

I would love for them to fight. I love pacquiao and I think it would be an incredible fight cuz i think its the two smartest and best boxers in the world. But floyd wont do it. They won't fight no matter how much we hope for it

EA 4 for his last 46, for christ sakes he is not going to hit his way out of this slump. Just like most of all the other guys on this team have not done see David Murphy last year. SIT HIS FUCKING ASS ON THE BENCH FOR A COUPLE DAYS. I don't care that Wilson adds nothing really with the bat or glove compared to Andrus. He is lost and will not just miraculously find it like you think Ron. He is young and has played every game so far I do believe but hell guys need multiple days off sometimes mentally when shit is going sideways

When is Scheppers back? And Frasor has earned the right to pitch the important late innings of a game. Ogando needs to be moved down the pecking order. Let's see if RW will do that. Don't know what has happened to him.

Our 2,3 and 4 hitters one for thirthteen tonight.

Fielder all season and Andrus for the better part of it. Beltre was hitting the ball well before he went on the DL and smoked one to the wall last night. So I will give him a pass for now as he will get it going. Just throwing this out there more for people's evaluation but what would Andrus be worth on the trade market right now? Not saying lets trade him, just curious because I am thinking not much. Second year in a row he has gone into a deep dive. Came out of it at the end last year but these long stretches are killing us in the 2 hole.

This from the DMN today:

His two strikeouts left him 1-for-23 (.043) with men in scoring position this season and hitless in his last 21 such at-bats dating to April 5. Andrus is now 4-for-44 (.091) over his last 11 games. He has as many double-play grounders in that stretch as hits.

As we were screaming about last night something has just got to happen in the # 2 hole, b/c right now it truly is a cavern and not a hole at all.

We're so invested in him that if he doesn't pull his head outta his ass this is a train wreck of a contract. He's owed well over $100 mil, which even when we signed him many teams thought we were making a bad decision to a non power hitter. And right now, he can't hit anything from anyone and is single handedly killing us. Yes, even more than Prince IMO.

But all this said, he still only 25 and maybe the light goes back on.

He will not move until Wash does the math.

I'd be interested in flipping Martin and Elvis in the lineup. Same style hitter - speed, contact/gap hitter.

Then again, Martin is struggling of late as well.....

Fwiw, the whole Elvis/Wilson thing.... im in favor of sitting him for a day or two...but the notion of sitting him longer than that (without an adequate backup filling in - say Sardinas) just won't work.

I'm not proposing Wilson as a long term solution. But something, damn near anything, has to be done TODAY. EA looks like he's mentally imploding with each at bat. Wash is not helping him or the team by leaving him to his own get-well solutions. Pep talks be damned.

Sit him, move him, something other than nothing is a starting place.

It's kind of scary to think we've got 2 guys who aren't worth their weight in salt today, and yet we're on the hook for over $200 mil and 10 years.

Darvish vs Skaggs... like our chances today. Angels are way more aggressive at the plate than the A's so I can see Darvish getting 8 to 10 ks.
