damn. looks like floyds gonna come back and win this one. The other guy just got worn down. Mayweather has freakin mastered the art of defense in boxing.
This guy here gave him a good fight it could have gone either way, floyd had a look on his face like he was going to lose at one point when they were announcing the winner. If pac and mayweather were too fight just think of the money the bout would earn it would be like 50M each or something absurd like that and be the biggest $$$ event in the history of the world!
Our 2,3 and 4 hitters one for thirthteen tonight.
Fielder all season and Andrus for the better part of it. Beltre was hitting the ball well before he went on the DL and smoked one to the wall last night. So I will give him a pass for now as he will get it going. Just throwing this out there more for people's evaluation but what would Andrus be worth on the trade market right now? Not saying lets trade him, just curious because I am thinking not much. Second year in a row he has gone into a deep dive. Came out of it at the end last year but these long stretches are killing us in the 2 hole.
Yep and they are for the most part costing ball games. Terrible!!!!Our 2,3 and 4 hitters one for thirthteen tonight.
He will not move until Wash does the math. This from the DMN today:
His two strikeouts left him 1-for-23 (.043) with men in scoring position this season and hitless in his last 21 such at-bats dating to April 5. Andrus is now 4-for-44 (.091) over his last 11 games. He has as many double-play grounders in that stretch as hits.
As we were screaming about last night something has just got to happen in the # 2 hole, b/c right now it truly is a cavern and not a hole at all.

I'd be interested in flipping Martin and Elvis in the lineup. Same style hitter - speed, contact/gap hitter.
Then again, Martin is struggling of late as well.....
Fwiw, the whole Elvis/Wilson thing.... im in favor of sitting him for a day or two...but the notion of sitting him longer than that (without an adequate backup filling in - say Sardinas) just won't work.
