Hockey Canada announces WJHC roster camp invitees today

The following guys are still eligible, but will not be available (maybe Schenn, but I doubt it):

Matt Duchene, Ryan O'Reilly, Jeff Skinner, Tyler Seguin, Brayden Schenn, Evander 'Big Daddy' Kane, Taylor Hall and Kyle 'The Colonel' Clifford

Ryan Howse (Flames prospect) has been lighting it up with the Chilliwack Bruins, I hope he gets an invite.

/I wonder if Linden Vey of the Medicine Hat Tigers will get a shout-out, leading scorer in the Dub after going on a tear the last couple of weeks.

re: Hall - that was my bad, puck, I put the summer camp list up initially, I've since fixed my post to include the December camp link (correct link) and Hall is not listed.

De Haan is a lock if he's healthy just like Ellis.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Jared Cowen is progressing for the Senators. Judging by his numbers, he's really picked up hi offensive game.

If he can improve his skating the Sens could have a top tier D-Man.

Also interested in seeing this Ryan Murray kid. Not draft eligible until 2012 and already invited to the WJHC tryouts. For a defenseman that is an accomplishment in itself.

They could be, but I don't think the defending champs will be returning very many players either (although goalie Jack Campbell will be there).

Well Boss, I doubt Pysyk is going to be another Tyler Myers. No goals, but eight assists and a +5 on a pretty bad Oil Kings team after 21 games this season. I've seen him a couple of times, pretty good skater, but I think he's a longshot to make the squad (as all three Team Canada returnees are Dmen)

I'm not exactly a Pens fan but I really hope Despres makes the team and I believe he will, especially now that Coyotes' prospect Brandon Gormley is injured. Gormley and Despres are by far the 2 best defecemen in the Q but Gormley is a year younger so he might have had a better shot at it.
