It seems to this point we are NOT trading Cousins so QB seems pointless.
1. OT (FA doesn't seem to bare one so)
2. S (Goes without saying)
3. NT (Hatcher signing pointless if we don't have a NT to collapse the pocket)
4. WR (I believe we sign another FA before the draft)
5. CB (Hall is aging and his replacement is not on current roster)

Yeah remember just a month ago, we WERE open to trading him for a 2nd rounder, and he is open to leaving.
At this point, he could go for a high 3rd "IF" it put us in a position to land a 1st rounder, and not surrender our 34th pick. After the 1st round, don't be surprised what teams will do with their draft picks.
BTW...mocks give you more flexibility

Another thing that was mentioned would be trading a 2nd in the '15 draft for a QB, Since that pick is technically worth less than a 2nd this year. I would be for that.

Okay with the Mock Draft 5 days away what are our top 5 needs?

1)FS 2)OL 3)ILB 4)WR 5) CB,DT,DE

After free agency I don't see my needs changing to much.

In real life I'd struggle with Deon Buchanon vs Morgan Moses at 34. and that's kinda where I'm at with this mock too.
There's no way Benjamen will be there anymore. And neither will either one of these guys in the 3rd

We can take a WR with the #34 pick which will properly be the BPA but man I would like have a FS,OT,ILB instead.

IF Jackson signs with us does that mean we wont draft a WR with #34th pick?

If we sign Jackson, I think you can actually draft a need at 34. We'd be looking pretty deep at WR.

Even if we sign Jackson.. if a guy like Benjamin is there at 34, you take him. Although Im kinda hoping we trade down and pick up an extra 3rd or 4th, then grab Brandon Coleman from Rutgers. He would fill our size need at WR rather nicely. :D

Again, if the talent is there. I dont expect Benjamin to be there at 34. I also hope they dont force an O-line pick just out of some assumed need to pick an o-lineman. If there is a day one starter there, sure you take him... at what ever position. But if the guy we are taking on the o-line is simply a guy who might be a day one starter who we are going to press into service because he was our first draft pick, I would pass if there was a guy who would otherwise be a day one starter at WR or safety or ILB actually.

I'm with Shark obviously. If we sign DJ and Moses and Benjamin are there at 34, if Benjamin grades out at 90 and Moses grades at 82, you take Benjamin...if Moses and Benjamin grade only one or two spots different, you take Moses.

I will post BPA when our pick is nearing. I am in discussions with several teams in trading our pick. Of course trade not official until we know who will be available to us at #34.

5 picks then we pick who should it be?
OLB Shazier-picked by Pats
OT Moses
OT Kouandjio
WR Benjamin
WR Landry
OG Yankey
DT Jernigan
CB Verrett
FS Brooks

Majority of votes I will pick that player or trade pick if good offer

I have decided to trade the pick because I didn't like the value on the board except for WR Benjamin but do to D-Jax signing I thought it was best to get more picks so here is the trade I did with the Jets.

Redskins trade 2.2 for Jets 2.17, 3.16, and 7.18

Thoughts?
